Makaila_Marie>> there are a bunch of tutorials on you tube that show you how to do what MCDaddyO has suggested. It worked for me and I have 1.9,2. You don't start the game by launching your normal minecraft and using a crazycraft profile as you do for small mods you launch voidlauncher (once you have downloaded ad installed it) then go into modpacks and launch crazy craft 3.0.2. You see a lot of loading stuff and then the game menu appears. From there you add the server and join multiplayer as usual. If it still doesn't work or it's really glitchy then you might need to look at your Java.

How log have I been playing MC? - About a week. Yes I'm a noob but hey everybody has to start somewhere don't they?
How many hours can I be available on the server? - lot's, I could probably do at least an hour a day, more when I don't have assessments etc due.
Why join? - Single player is not as fun, I have kids wanting their own accounts so am looking for a friendly, creative, safe community that I can hopefully get them added to also. Having now outed myself as a Mum I should clarify that I was a gamer before I was a Mum so will be an active player and am looking forward to joining a modded server. I've seen quite a few YouTube clips of users playing CrazyCraft and like what I see..
I realize I'm probably in the wrong place but hoping you might be able to tell me where I should be? My daughter is a huge LD Shadowlady fan and wants a Minecraft account for her birthday so she can play shadow craft too. I'm just sussing stuff out and am wondering how the heck to get added so I can connect to the server and have a play to see if it's the right community for us. I think I have the right server (shadowcolors) but it says I need to be on a white list.
Sorry for being such a dorky noob but google has not been my friend.

I've since found server hosts put up posts when there are spaces available so I will wait and keep an eye out. Good luck finding new staff
