    First things first, a Village within 75 chunks of a mansion is astronomical odds. Like, better chance of winning the lottery than seeing this happen.

    ...ahem. First time I found the new mansion:

    posted a message on Who wants to start a server with me?

    You will need to be more informative about the server itself. Is it spigot? Using plugins? What kinds? Is it a prison server? Adventure? Survival? All three? More? What are people in those positions supposed to do? Is staff just a way to get more players on your server? If it is, don't. That way leads to destruction. Do not have an owner slot. There should only be one owner, and said owner should, in my opinion, have the rank of a normal admin ingame. Decide if admins and mods are the same thing, and, if they are, merge them into that one thing. You should at all costs avoid having different levels of staff. If you don't trust your staff with your server, don't give them any position.

    Jeb does still work on Minecraft, actually. Microsoft bought it, but nothing changed except how the programmers got their salaries.

    Also found a mansion, found it funny that it was built right next to a village. Can villagers and illagers co-exist after all?!

    If the plugin wasn't storing the teams in the scoreboard.dat file, it may have been storing them in its config file. Try finding and deleting it.

    posted a message on Your thoughts?

    No update would work, because those who use mods would complain that Minecraft updates too much, breaking their mods, and completely disregard the fact that they can stay at whatever version their mods work at. I still use a 1.6.4 mod when not playing multiplayer! Not updating won't work either, since many players do not use mods whatsoever, and would get bored with the lack of updates.

    If this happens to you again with a command block you don't want to get rid of for whatever reason, stand on top of it again and use this command

    /blockdata ~ ~-1 ~ {auto:0}

    to make it require redstone to repeat.

    posted a message on Command Block help plz {/give}

    Put that command on a repeating (purple, always active) command block. It will put a diamond chestplate on the player if they take it off, or it gets removed in some other way. This seems to be what you want. If you are looking for it to work in another way, please clarify.

    I'd like to know this as well. I had an old server, it went offline, and now I can't find a way to get the icon back, but I have it stored as text.

    posted a message on Salt

    Ah, non-salted food would not be negative. In fact, with a decent farm you would almost never use salt. Also, good point. I'm thinking that one water bucket would make 2 salt, for now. Each salt will salt one piece of meat.

    Think about it. Say you have a stack of cooked chicken. That's 384 points of hunger total. Now salt them all. 448 points total. Quite a large bonus. If you make it add too much hunger, it would just get ridiculous. I intended for this suggestion to make a "travel food" that only those who absolutely needed to stretch a small amount farther would use.

    posted a message on Salt

    I came up with this while travelling away from spawn in a server.

    How to acquire:

    Take a water bucket and cook it in a furnace. After cooking, you will have an empty bucket in the cooking slot and 2 salt in the output slot.

    Uses:

    Combining salt with almost any meat, besides the obvious like rotten flesh, will get you salted ___. One salt combines with one meat. Salted meat gives an extra half point of hunger when consumed.

    Why?

    I needed a travel food to get me out of the server spawn. I had plenty of fuel, but nearly all the animals were cleared out. With salted meat, players can, with a little bit of effort, travel farther on less. Established players would probably never salt meat because the effort to go salt it would just not be worth it if you have even the smallest farm.
