While most peeple choose sides I'm not going to pick. Both Notch and yogscast are like idols to me and trying to pick one would be unfair given the fact that we don't know much. I believe this just happened because everyone was tired from the long days and the jet lag. Hopefully this will pass over and both sides will apologize regardless of what they have done. That being said, until then this is pretty upsetting to see. Here's hoping that this sort of thing doesn't happen in the future. After all, its the community working together that makes minecraft great and the last thing we need is in-fighting among us.
does anyone know how i can make a dragon farm / grinder??
because as of now, i haven't even figured out how to make an enderman farm / grinder...
Right now dragons don't spawn naturally in the end unless you use a .class file and spawn them yourself. Even then you can't kill them because they are invincible.
As far as I understand you don't use reagents in enchantment but instead spend exp or skill points. The only thing you're risking is the item you're trying to enchant.
Whatever it was it had to have been smart enough to use flint and steel itself the second time you hear it it sounds like something else is doing it instead of the main person we hear.
The pre-release was Mojangs idea not because of some angry guy who happened to get a hold of it... You people are so misinformed... Mojang did it because they felt bad about the actual release having to be held back so they released it so that people could play anyways even though it was buggy.
I was just sitting around looking at all the great mods that are out there and trying to install them all to enjoy them when i thought of a crazy (maybe to crazy) idea. A place where you can find every mod or maybe a giant mod pack with most maybe not all mods! Ambitious I know. With the addition of mod support in 1.8 you can imagine all the mods that are going to show up along with the mods that are already out there. I'm not exactly saying that I would be able to do all of this I'm just trying to share my ideas with the community. Who knows what will happen for now but I'm sure when 1.8 comes out that some site like this will show up.
