Regarding the whole banning thing:
I'm assuming that if this was implemented you're username, whatever it may be, will be bound to an ID, and when you ban someone it will ban the ID automatically with it. So no matter how many times you change your username, you will never evade a permanent ban. (Steam has been doing this for like, 8 years. Common people!)
My real concern is people who will change there name to a famous youtuber to impersonate them if the youtuber decides to change there name.

Actually it makes all sorts of noises if you look in that video I posted above I clicked it five or six times and got a new sound each time including footsteps and the sound of gathering XP.
I have no clue what this could be hinting at though since we already have more sound options.
Edit: looks like this has already been replied to.
I'm still curious as to what all this super secretiveness could lead to though.
For me im getting all this demonic growling, Possibly a new boss? (Im running 36b)

That would work for small servers, but on big servers where there is 20-30 griefers it would become a problem.
That whats the IP ban is for, my friend. And I think this is a good idea if there is a system that allows servers to track there original name, so they can ban from that way. so if someone changed there name to a griefers for fun, he wouldn't be banned from the server for a month. -

Do you have any idea how much it costs to rent out an entire convention center and then buy all the furniture and print everything?
Even a huge convention like E3 cant be hosted in 2 locations because it costs tens of millions of dollars to host such a thing. -

The difference between Lego: The Movie and a Minecraft movie is that there's a set story to a Minecraft movie, therefore there wont be much creative freedom allowed, In the end it will end up being Steve fighting the Ender Dragon, that's it. The movie is already spoiled for everyone who has ever finished Minecraft ever (I'm fairly certain if they added mods it would prove that Minecraft doesn't even have enough content in it to make a feature film). Lego on the other hand, they had a LOT of creative freedom in it. There's no set story to Lego characters, You can literally do anything you want with them, hence all the twists and turns in the movie.
