posted a message on Can't place on a particular block

It's a bug that happens when pistons are loaded or unloaded quickly while running (redstone operating). It's hard to replicate. It's happened to me a few times. The only way to fix it is to put a piece of tnt next to the block and ignite it. To minimize redstone damage I surrounded the blocks with 2 pieces of cobblestone around each side. The last side placed right after ignition. Good luck!

Haha 4j can't patch anything without bugs. If anything I would think herobrine is real on console. It manifested from defects.

There's a save game max limit in place now. It's the same one he's talking about. I've never heard anyone hitting even near that with the world sizes they are now. I don't think you have anything to worry about. Also bedrock edition is unlimited. Period. The game is universal across all platforms. They aren't going to make a bedrock console version. I'm talking about the old console edition with that last post. As for file size.

The worlds will be bigger, but there is a size restriction. I very highly doubt you would reach that limit unless you are just flying around everywhere. When the console edition gets its last update you will be able to walk beyond the barriers that are there now. Does everyone just knee jerk post before understanding what is being said?

So this thread will die since pretty much everyone has a different opinion than you. We all must be wrong since millions don't want change.

I'd make sure all the bottom platform is solid gold, iron, emerald, diamond. It really sounds like it's not being built right. It just doesn't seem like your map would have problems alone. Can you send pictures?

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree about "Pour water over lava" being more dangerous than "play through the game long enough to get to The End". I was making my first Nether portal...going to The End for the "safe" method of obtaining obsidian seems sort of cart-before-horse-ish. But we all play the game differently!

To me going to the end is just as dangerous as going to the nether. The end has ghast, wither, blaze etc... Ghast especially... The end has the dragon then that's that. All you really need is a bow which could easily be combined from fish farms. Then put a bed down by the portal and you can die a million times if need be. But the dragon isn't that hard. One its dead there's nothing to really bother you there as long as you don't look at the enderman. I don't know. I hate going to the nether even with maxed gear. So many accidents happen there. The end is way more peaceful. But that's just my opinion like you said. I just felt like explaining why I think that.

Hey, if you don't agree then just leave. Don't post!

If you make a post with a poll in a discussion sub forum expect people with different opinions posting. Are you even serious?!

Because you want a company to invest hundreds of thousands of dollars just because you are stubborn and don't want change. I'd rather they condense it so minecraft lasts longer vs the funds drying out and no more minecraft. I've read everything you say and to be 100% honest it literally hurts my brain since you can't think objectively beyond your own needs. The fact that you have to try and throw insults at me rather than facts to rebut my statements has already told me all I need to know.

On top of all this your petition has 6 supporters and the poll has 70% change and 30% on the fence. Which means a % of that 30 will like the changes. I just don't understand your disconnect.

Also, if you hit a blaze that's near the farms all the ones on the farms will aggro you through the wall..

I never understand why people do dangerous things to get obsidian. There's towers in the end that are easily mined. Rubber band the controller and look back in a few minutes. Beacon if possible.

Once again I have to point out that this is all moot. You are thinking selfishly as most gamers do. Mojang is a business. They are there to make money. Having 8 versions of a game is a very costly thing. Especially when third party developers are hired. You lose a sense of control as well. I'm sure Mojang is not happy with the amount of bugs 4j introduces. But what can they really do? Sure there are some features that are missing, but they will be added in time. Sure QC doesn't work, but to be fully honest it never made sense and I'm sure it's a bug anyway that will be fixed, just like piston translocation. Just because people identify it with fancy words doesn't make it not a bug. Redstoners now have a opportunity to create things that won't be as laggy and not relying on bugs. I know people are resistant to change but this is seriously way better. We will get updates faster as well. There's not one thing anyone had mentioned that objectively looking isn't a big deal.

I would think the easiest way would be to take a comparator output from x number of chests. I would pick chests that fill last. Maybe from there hook it up to some and gates. If they trigger then a certain piston will trigger. I think it's overkill. Putting redstone lamps above and or below with same comparator setup to say if each row is full. It's also more precise.
