I neeeed major help on installing the Ather mod for Minecraft 1.1. I already watched six different videos and
tried installing the mod 14 times but every time failed horribly. I would be very greatful if someone could help. Thx.
Today you will learn how to install regular texture packs.
Step 1: download the texture pack you want to install.
Step 2: DO NOT extract the file with win-wrar, unarchiver, or any un-zipping program.
Step 3 (for mac users): Go into finder and go through the following: [user directory]/Library/Application Support/minecraft.
Then go into the texture packs folder and place the zip file in it. You now have a texture pack installed!
Step 3 (for windows/linux users): find your minecraft application folder and open the texture pack folder in it.
Then place the texture pack file you downloaded in the texure pack folder and then you are done!
Step 4: to access the texture pack in Minecraft is very easy. First open Minecraft and login. Then click on the texture packs
tab and you will see and image of the texture pack you installed. Click on the tab that says, "open file" or something like that and
you can now play Minecraft with your textuepack!
