Light up the area, so they won't get within sight range, and/or use high walls around structures. Also, doors drop when zombies break them, and even if you don't get to it fast enough, six wood isn't a lot.

They're level 15. 15 is the highest, same as sunlight. Last I checked, most lamps aren't brighter than the sun.

About the only thing you can't just ignore and not use is hunger, and it's really easy to get food anyway. So, as has been said before... If you don't like it, don't use it.

You're kinda just posting that on every "looking for server" thread, so I'm not sure that actually fits any of my preferences.

Looking for a small server, or at least not one so huge it's impossible to talk to people. I don't want a PvP-centric server, but I guess it's alright if PvP is enabled. Vanilla's nice, but as long as there aren't a million game-changing mods, whatever. I really would like there to be some sort of anti-griefing/block-logging plugin, though.

It seemed there used to be a ton of these, but now they're all prison or hardcore PvP, or they're just so enormous that chat is always spammed and the spawn is a maze. So, if you know of or own a server that fits the criteria above, please tell me.

Oh, one more thing. I don't like Jobs or things like that; I'm an all-'rounder, and hate having to be confined to one job.

EDIT: More info. By "game-changing," I mostly mean things that take away from the intended experience of Minecraft. For example, things that greatly restrict creativity or make it too easy (especially since MC is so easy already). Iconomy makes it simpler to trade, and MCMMO allows you to get better at things you do a lot, so I don't mind them or similar plugins. Also, I'm 13, in case there are any age requirements.

OP joins, makes thread expecting people to believe that torches magically spawned on their own, then acts super defensive and basically says anyone who's skeptical is stupid and their opinion is worthless. Good way to get started on the forum.

Edit: Oh, and he gives "proof" but flat-out says he won't listen if you don't find anything. Wow.
