I wonder if Notch is going to introduce any sort of long lasting alternative for the torch, considering that come Halloween torches will need to be refueled, else die. I've been hoping for a while that lamps could be implemented. Torches don't exactly go with everything, like the color black.

Thank you for this. I lost a lot of my wooden fort and had to use an editor to put out the fire just because the stupid game auto saves every time you open the menu. Where are the backups saved? It would be nice to also change the save location so I could tell it to backup to a different hard drive that has more space.
