I never meant for that to come off as sass. I was joking more than anything, not trying to insult you.

Well that went quickly. I randomly found a cabin to sleep in, then someone woke me up for the festival. At least there were two full days, any earlier I wouldn't have even seen the (done-many-times-before) plot.

posted a message on If you could have anything implemented for Adventure Map Making
I'm just wondering what you would do if you could add anything to be used in adventure maps? I was really thinking of making a general mod for adventure mode (As to adventure-craft, it's basically zelda-craft, is out of date and doesn't integrate well with systems in minecraft, requires a separate launcher to play maps specifically for it, and I want to make a mod anyway)

Now I have done very very little modding in minecraft but I can certainly help you as I'm quite fluent in Java and am a rather good programmer.

I'm not sure why you have a regional requirement. Pretty sure you could converse just fine with anyone speaking English in any native accent.

posted a message on better magic
    1. You triple-posted, twice
    2. If people don't respond they probably don't care for your idea
    3. The idea itself is bad. Think about what you're saying when you say you want a mega powerful infinite power. If you seriously cannot see what's wrong with that then I'm not going to do anything more to help you. There's other things but not so blatantly obvious that a quick proofread could tell you they were wrong. E.g. useless powers that sound cool, imbalance for the game, unnecessary and unrelated diamond apple with not even an ounce of thought into it.
    4. Most people don't want to make a mod that someone else says. If they come here they're looking for ideas not jobs, so just because you want one doesn't mean they'll make it. If you make something interesting and detailed a modder might come along and implement it or something derived from it, but few if any will want to follow an ambiguous post where you don't give any information.

You can place 3 cubic meters of water out of buckets into perfect blocks and take water out infinitely (but only if the ground is shaped in a certain way).

posted a message on Top 5 things you wouldn't mind Minecraft not having.
    Quote from Daidouken

Minecart furnaces keep you from having to make detector and powered rails. Once you figure out how they work and get it setup they are easy and cool to use.

And require you to input fuel into them to keep them running. And they pollute much more than redstone does.

I like this and will consider making something to this degree. Of course it wouldn't be too close to this suggestion itself but use some core ideas.

The best mod idea I've ever seen by far. 9001/10. Your medal, finished mod and prize money will arrive shortly.

    posted a message on Javac.exe?
Um, no don't download it from anywhere but sun's website. Seriously I gave you a link that showed the download page to you. You should only ever download the jdk from Sun because they own it, otherwise it's likely to be out of date and have other risks (eg. viruses attached). I know nothing about Softonic but that doesn't change the matter.

    1. If you don't have this you probably won't be able to actually mod
    2. It's part of the Java Development Kit in case that link didn't do enough for you.

posted a message on Risks on Modding
If you computer crashes you turn it on and it works fine. The percentage that a mod here will crash your computer is 0% (It is possible but really you'd have to have malicious intent to possibly cause that with a minecraft mod, unless your computer is already horribly screwed up).

posted a message on First ever Semi-Conducting BUD?
Well there seems to be a completely normal bud up there activating so I assume he has. The only reason you're getting only redstone and repeaters to trigger it is because it's diagonal to the tile. Only redstone and repeaters will update that far (well several other things will as well but most blocks won't).
