From what i've experienced myself, that happens when you mix modloader and non modloader mods. modloader is already set to know how many items or blocks are in vanilla minecraft and when replacing textures, messes with all but those. If you mane any non modloader items or blocks, and have another that is made with modloader, it has a chance of overlapping your nonmodloader texture
I have done pixel art since i was a little girl c: and still greatly enjoy doing it. Lately I find myself trying to come up with unique ideas for skins, and making them for no real reason xD. I showed them to my fellow minecraft friends and they were greatly impressed, telling me i should start up taking commisions!

I'm using Photoshop CS5 Extented and probably one of the best out there. I've been foreced to take classes that require teaching it and know all the tricks there are, including Ocapity, Shading, and changing the hue of the entire picture in 3 seconds without loosing a single detail. I DO live the college life, but the skin should be complete by the end of the day~
