hey so i want to make a Construct style map and would love if you could either teach me how or give me the link to a guide, i loved your map but its hard to learn with an already done map, im trying my best, replaying, checking commands executed and others but i just cant learn it, pls help me learn

After reloading the map I lost ALL the signs do you know of a fix for it? I really want to finish the map but the lack of signs makes it difficult Thanks!

So much so, I had to sign up all over again for an account to respond (had an account on here in the beta originally, then had to create/merge a new one when it became curse, now it made me create a new account with twitch. Too old for this, lol.
This has to be one of the best maps I have ever played. I absolutely adored it, so did the other people I played it with. I wish there were more out there in this genre, but this has to be one of the more unique maps as there is nothing else around like this.
I don't respond about maps normally but yours is fantastic.

Second, the command is asking for a data value for the block. Check its rotation and add the corresponding number.
Example:
/testforblock -335 203 151 minecraft:chain_command_block 0 {SuccessCount:1}

redcanary posted a message on HELP Commands PROS !Posted in: Maps DiscussionThe "end screen" is an end gateway block. You cannot find it in the creative inventory or /give it. You can place it though by either typing
/setblock ~ ~ ~ minecraft:end_gateway
or
/fill ~ ~ ~ ~2 ~2 ~2 minecraft:end_gateway
Then place blocks behind the end gateway blocks. When glass or glass panes are dropped in front of the gateway blocks, they will show the blocks behind.

I'm happy to hear you've enjoyed it so much to keep playing it, but I'm bummed I don't have another one for you. I started working on an inventor's mansion map in the same vein as this but it will take a long time to finish, if I get it done against all of the competing demands on my time. Not as much time as I'd like to make games with in the first place, and there are so many games I'm interested in making. A sequel to The Albatross set entirely in space also appeals to me, or on Roblox I'd like to make a large-scale co-op game of de-haunting an abandoned carnival. I have the means to make a mobile game for a treasure hunt where you find clues and treasure in real world locations, or I could design another Halloween escape room. I still have some ideas about making a card game about an Enchanted Forest where you're trying to lure magical creatures in to live there, and sometimes there's nothing better than hanging out with a few friends for a classic tabletop roleplaying game (maybe about the war of ants in Central Park, or defending an anti-missile base against saboteurs during a massive assault).
But I'll admit, there's something I found particularly satisfying about this map that makes me want to put another "Construct" game on the top of the pile. If nothing else, I'd really like to see more designers try it out, and if I could get another hit, maybe I could get a movement started.

THE ALBATROSS
Survival-Horror Adventure, Vanilla in Survival game mode, “Construct” game type.
You are a crew member of a freighter spacecraft, “The Albatross”, but something went wrong. Your ship has crashed on a frozen planet and you’re lucky to be alive. Diagnostics show extensive damage to the hull and several vital components have torn away from the ship. You’ll need to collect materials, recover missing components, and repair the damage. Unfortunately, you don’t have much time. The fission reactors have become unstable and the containment shields are failing!
