Zelda is a bad example. The Legend of Zelda is an ARPG (Action Roll Playing Game). You take the roll of a specific character, but there is also action.

In MineCraft the only way I could explain it would be calling it an "Adventure Sandbox Game" that has minor RPG elements such as a loose ending with a small storyline, as well as dungeons, treasures, and a goal.

No, but, seriously, I doubt this petition is gonna go anywhere with the amount of people in the MC Classic community compared to the MC Premium community. And especially if we add in the amount of people that don’t notice this thread and the amount of people that don’t notice your post and the amount of people that don’t notice your link and the amount of people that don’t care.

Let's see.
Reasons why Classic is often more enjoyable than MC Creative:
1) It's free
2) It has a loooot less lag
3) It has better clients and more flexible server softwares than Premium

Next you argue with a guy that posted a year ago, so I'll just leave you to that.

Next, you sir seem to be posting hate. (Also, that blue color is going to give someone cancer from reading that all.)
If you don't care for the classic community, you can leave. If you care, you can stay and maybe help out.

Yeah, Notch wanted to leave classic alone, and just shove a little link below the full game on the homepage and call it a day. The Classic community was fine with this, but Mojang is going against Notch's initial wishes, which makes this all worse.

Also, I'm happy to see that open-minded people have taken over this thread from the haters.

Why do people want this topic locked? That makes no sense...

Anyways, for those people saying to just change over from classic to creative:
1)That costs money
2)Premium is 20x laggier than classic
3)Classic has better clients and server softwares that are open-sourced and incredibly flexible

If you are here to hate on minecraft classic, you can just leave. There is a 90% chance that all the people here ratting on classic have never been on an actual server before. I owe classic a lot. Without minecraft classic I would never have found premium at all.

Finally, for the people that don't have a twitter account: It takes 2 minutes to make one. Remember that each signature counts.

Long Live MineCraft Classic

For those of you that remember the MineCraft and Mojang of old:

Mollstam (the mojang web developer) has removed the link to MineCraft Classic on the homepage. We need as many signatures as we can get to prove that the MineCraft Classic community cares. Many communities will be destroyed by the removal of this link because without the link, there will be no new guests to play on servers. This will cause all Classic Servers to shrink until they completely fall.

MineCraft Classic, even though it is outdated, is still widely populated. The last time I checked (being a few days ago), there were 200 servers up and running. MineCraft Classic is free, but without the link on the homepage, no one will learn about minecraft classic, and those 200+ communities will die in a matter of months. A lot of people enjoy MineCraft Classic over MineCraft Creative because classic has much more flexible server softwares that are much much much less resource consuming as premium. Classic also has several clients that far outplay premium. This is why many builders create their large builds in classic in order to escape the lag and have access to powerful commands.
