Quote from EnzerDeLeo
Because I don't go around comparing how different industries run their respective businesses, that is why I am asking for an example within the gaming industry, because I know you cannot come up with an example to support your point.
I really do not care if you are running from this conversation, you've given weak ass counterpoints and your thought process lies in the realms of dreams, none of your points are rooted in reality, you do not comprehend how much of a hassle it would be to do paid mods not just for Mojang, but for the community.
But nice cop out trying to get the last word seeming like the better man who won the conversation, please don't reply to me since, as you've said, you have made your point more than sufficient.
The guy is right, you are wrong and on top of that, you're splitting hair to try to win an argument that you lost.

Exiting full screen turns the screen black with only the cursor visible. It becomes impossible to get out of that screen by tabbing out or doing Alt+F4. The only thing that gets out of it is going to the log in screen by doing Ctrl+Alt+Delete then hitting cancel. Then the game becomes windowed but impossible to resize. This is annoying as @%?%?@$#?. It happens with 1.8.8 and 1.8.1 too. I just updated to the latest version of java and it's still happening. It only started happening recently. The only thing that had been installed recently was F.lux, which has been removed.
Specs :
Windows 7
Radeon HD 6850, drivers up to date (no longer updated)
Thanks for your help.

This is and makes the game unplayable.
I don't think the graphics are to blame, because when I start getting lag spikes like this and go to the video menu, the interface lags too.
Just now, I was going somewhere on a fully generated SSP map and the chunks stopped loading altogether. So I left the world and came back. The game got stuck on the dirt loading screen. I was in full screen mode and couldn't do anything. I couldn't bring up the force quit dialogue or tab out. So I had to reboot. This is.

The issue is that WorldVerify.verifyWorld(); doesn't notify Main() in any way that level.dat does not exist. So once WorldVerify.verifyWorld(); is done, Main() just carries on normally even when level.dat is non-existent, and instead tries to render a world with the name "null" with the file null/level.dat. I've been fixing it and might have a pull request sooner or later.

The issue I encounter is that it doesn't seem possible to lower everything without stretching anything and it doesn't seem possible to keep the ocean gravel underwater.
Thank you!
