I bought Pocket Edition but could never get used to touch controls, so this is more than welcome for having another version of Minecraft I can take on the go.

Thank you for this! Kind of sucked that my sound kept cutting out. Your patch worked like a charm.

Also, some of my animal keep escaping enclosed areas. Mainly sheep, but only the ones that have colored wool. o.O Go figure that one out.

Yeah, I'm thinking the leads are pretty pointless either way unless I'm just stopping and slapping down a post temporarily. Anytime I walk too far away then come back, the leads are broken and their wandering around. The pen I have at the ranch seems to be working fine so I'm glad for that.

Wouldn't that make it suffocate? But I'd rather not have to put my horses into holes either way. :/ If they're gonna glitch and escape I guess I'll just have to wait until it's fixed...

My friend and I found some horses on my server and I'm wondering what the best way would be to keep them from escaping. At first we just had them in an open area with leads attached to posts. One day I was on by myself exploring, and when I came back, both leads were broken laying on the ground. The horses were still nearby, so I was able to pick up the leads and attach them to the posts again.
Since then we partially walled off the area. Enough that we figured they wouldn't get out if it happened again. Well we were both out exploring this time, came back, and his horse was gone. I found it wandering in the field outside of the wall. We still don't really know how it got so far in such a short amount of time. Or how it got there at all, really.
So now I'm in the process of making a ranch with a gated area of 1 block of wood and 2 fence posts high. My friend is still paranoid of his horse getting away, so he put it inside the ranch -with- the horse tied off to a post.
So should this keep them in ok (see picture), or should they still be tied off, too? Is the leads breaking the way they are a bug? It only seems to happen when we go far enough that the area has to load back in when we come back. Thanks in advance for any info.
Also....sorry for rambling so much lol.

Also, sometimes the biome borders are in a clear zig-zag pattern...It's terrible...

You know, at least everyone complaining is making sense. How are they uninformed or uneducated because they don't want Forge? Where do you see them saying it's too complicated for them to know how to install? I sure don't see that anywhere.
Personally, I myself know how to install all of that crap. My friend even had me get all the Tekkit junk to get on his server not too long ago, but I can't stand all of that and I like my Minecraft a lot more simple. Some additions on top of vanilla, but not as much as packs like those add. So I understand why people are frustrated they'd have to have such a huge mod just in order to change some sounds around to their liking. Too big of a requirement for something that simple. I'll be passing myself. Not that I don't support the creator of this or anything, but I don't think it's fair to have such a hefty requirement, either.
Either way, oh well. It is what it is. If people want to do it, great, hope they have fun with it. Others like me will pass for now and just keep on hoping for better options in the future.
