    I downloaded 1.1.3 and got a crash due to this mod having an enchantment ID conflict with another mod I have installed. I tried messing with your config file and saw potion IDs, but no enchantment IDs. This was the config that generated when I tried installing 1.0.4 a few days ago, so I figured that if I deleted it and rebooted the game, it would generate a new config to mess with. And it did create a new one, but it's completely blank. :/ I tried deleting the entire mod and redownloading it but it still has the same issue -- blank config file.


    Edit: Just went through and tried downloading and installing earlier versions with hopes that I could get an updated config that way, but that didn't work -- even when I tried re-installing 1.0.4, which makes me think this is some issue with my computer rather than with the mod @__@ Could someone copy/paste the 1.1.3 config file contents for me? I might be able to get around this issue by just pasting that into my empty file.


    Edit 2: Finally got it to generate after temporarily deleting the conflicting mods. Weird. I've never had a problem with getting config files to fully generate before Minecraft crashes...

    Is there a quick and easy way to cheat yourself into the crystal dimension? I'm trying to find and solve mod conflicts (I'm running over 100 so the chance of issues is high), and I know dimensions have been a big cause of problems between other mods I'm running.

    Keep in mind that there are users from all around the world on this site, and it's doubtful that "Pam" is a common name outside of countries with English as the native language; so for some people, they'd just have to guess at your sex. For instance, I have a friend from Russia named Katja. Without googleing the name, can you tell me with absolute certainty whether Katja is a girl or a boy?

    And back on subject, thanks for the fast update!

    Hey Raust, is it possible that your item IDs are hardcoded? TMI showed me that they start at 5200-something, which conflicts with a bunch of IDs from the butterfly mod. When I went into your configuration file, the IDs started at 5000, not at 5200-whatever, and changing them did nothing.

    If it comes down to it, I'd rather have this mod than butterflies, but I'd really like both to work together if possible.

    I have a few things to report on the pre-release. First of all, I can't find Cacao Trees anywhere. I tried looking in spawns.xie to see which biomes I should be searching in, but Cacao Trees weren't in it. I tried adding it myself, but having never done something like this before, I ended up glitching the file so badly that nothing spawns anymore. x_X

    And while this isn't a bug, why are tea bushes grown from leaves instead of from seeds? Are they propagated by cuttings or something? Also, you left out in the readme that you can get rose and dandelion seeds by using the foraging stick on flowers.

    ...And that's all I've found so far. It's looking great, keep up the good work! :smile.gif:

    Is anyone else having problems with the bananas from More Trees? Whenever I break a banana block out of the tree, instead of turning into the banana item, it remains as the unnamed banana block, which I can neither eat nor place. I'm also getting the bug where cherry trees drop leave blocks instead of saplings.

    I'm running Forge with pwnedgod's ScotTools/Forge compatibility patch, if it makes any difference.

    Hello Pam, I hope you're having a wonderful holiday! :biggrin.gif:

    I have a few questions though. How close is Hearthcraft from leaving the idea stage and entering the development stage? I love mods with craftable aesthetic blocks, but I'm not too keen on the ones that alter world generation in order to add them. I'd love colored stone and carpets and other such things, but without all the random ores and plants that come with those mods as they are now.

    Also in regards to the colored stones you add in Earthcraft, I noticed that you've based them off of the default painterly pack textures. Unfortunately, I normally use vanilla textures (and even when I don't, I use smooth textures for stone and rounded pebble textures for cobble), so your stone looks like cobble and your cobble looks like stone brick. :/ However, I remember using a mod in 1.7.3 that added colored planks, stone, cobble, bricks, sand, and glass (as well as connected textures for glass) that managed to add them without even adding new textures. I believe he just overlayed an html color code over the default textures to get the colored ones (you could even alter the html code in the config file!), which meant it probably would have worked with any other texture pack as well.

    Of course, not being a coder, I have no idea how he did it nor how hard it would be to replicate it. And of course, I can't for the life of me remember the title of the thread, and I can't find it in my list of mods I watch, which means either the author deleted the thread or I neglected to watch it in the first place. I still have the 1.7.3 .zip file though, so if this is something that interests you and you're good with muddling through someone else's code, I could probably send it to you.

    Premium Wood requires ScotTools API, which you haven't downloaded. Note that ScotTools isn't compatible with Forge, but I believe Scokeev9 has a link to a patch at the top of his thread. Just go back to where you downloaded Premium Wood. Everything you need is on that page. Also, double check that you have the right version of Stuffed Animals.

    Hey Coupon, I know you've been having problems with updating Beekeeping because the achievements need SAPI and because of glitches with the helmet, but what if you removed those two things from the code? Would that make it any easier to update? I honestly don't care for achievements, and I found having to wear the helmet in 1.7.3 to be more of a hassle than it's worth, so I definitely wouldn't miss those features.

    Also, do you have an updated list of mods you're currently working on to replace the list on the first post?

    A heads up to those who plan to use Xie's farming mod with Mo' Creatures with all the default settings: you will be spammed with "Choose your Pet's name" messages. Xie's trees drop fruit on their own, which of course attracts all the goats nearby, and they'll be automatically tamed once they eat the fallen fruit.

    It seems like trees automatically dropping apples may be a feature in 1.01, so even those only using this mod may have this problem. DrZhark, could you perhaps change goat taming so that you have to right click them with food to tame them? I'm fine with them still eating drops, just so long as the plethora of drops in my orchard don't tame every goat in sight.

    Are you still open to last minute suggestions for more doggy talents? Well I've got two.

    The first would be self medicating/feeding. You could have the dogs eat meat that's lying on the ground, leech hp off of fresh kills, or give them a one slot inventory (their mouth) that they could use only for food, kind of like how the raptors in the Fossil and Archeology mod will eat the meat they're holding in their mouth if they're hungry or injured. Higher levels could help heal other dogs, and if they have the pack puppy skill as well, they can pull food from that inventory too.

    My second idea is somehow giving the dogs a ranged attack. I'm not sure how you might go about this though. The only thing that makes sense to me is making them kick up rocks or something, but that wouldn't look right unless they turned around and kicked with their back legs, and I'm not sure if you're willing to go through the effort of animating that. :/ But, if there was anyway to get a dog version of archery, that would be awesome.

    Anyway, you've got a great mod here. :smile.gif: It's definitely one of my favorites.

    If you make multiple magic yarns, can you set a different origin point for each yarn, or would there be one origin point shared between all of them? And does the yarn path save after closing out of Minecraft?

    Even if the answer is "no" to both of these questions, I can see myself getting a lot of use out of this mod.

As much as I love to bake, no one seems to like my cakes and cookies except for me(probably because they're wheat, sugar, and artifical ingredient free, and nobody likes it when you try to make something bad for you slightly healthier. Oh, and they look like little turds too), so I don't think me sending you any would work very well as a token of appreciation for all the work you've done for the community. I could probably crochet a square cupcake with a dead minecraft wolf in the middle though... Actually, I think I need to do that now regardless of whether you want one or not. :biggrin.gif:

    Just here to say that I'm not getting any dragon scale drops either. However, if you still have v2.4.1, the dragon scales DO drop. So load up that version, go dragon slaying, and then upgrade to v.2.4.2 so that you can make dragon swords and... saddles?

    Yeah, whenever I try making a staff, I get a saddle sprite titled "unnamed" rather than a dragon staff. It still toggles the dragon between passive and aggressive modes, so it's not really a problem.
