who has found the co-ordinates to a zombie spawner? if so, could you let me know! thanks!!
I have not located a Zombie spawner yet. The OP may have as he described coming across several spawners. I am at a point where I am gathering resources, mining, farming and building a base of operations, before I explore more. I was hoping that Forge and some mods would be ready by now so I could use them, to help my exploration but that is not to be yet. I have come across some horses, but I cannot remember the coordinates. Sorry I couldn't be help there. If I find them again, I will post approximately where they are at.
Not sure why, but I had a difficulty time downloading. Both links eventually wound me up at mediafire, but my virus scanner kept blocking it (and mediafire has permissions), and when I clicked on the download...instead of getting the download...I got a ton of open tabs in my browser to not too savory sites. I finally, finally did get the download. I like the pack, but I am not to fond of the torches.....they look more like candles to me (which isn't a bad thing.....I just don't like candles everywhere (too bad there isn't a seperation for candles and torches in minecraft with different intensities of light...torches for caves and pathways and ground area and candles for the houses and other table tops etc.) The other thing is the water. It is so light. It needs a bluer hue in it, IMHO. It looked more like ice to me when I first looked at my river. I do love the wood though.
How different? Seems that it should have the same features as the PC version. I am still loving this world. I had to take a break from Minecraft PC for awhile cause my computer was just HORRIBLE with minecraft. Now I have a new nifty Laptop and the difference in Minecraft. SO MUCH better. I am at village -944,-720 and I am having a great time getting resources and building up the village and my home. There is a mineshaft nearby, lava pools, and within a days trek(Minecraft day) a stronghold. Slime chunks aren't too far away either. I need to visit the nether still and see if I can find the fortress. According to Amidst, there is supposedly a nether fortress not to far away.
If you are looking for a true survival world, where resources and natural loot are plenty with most biomes within a 5000 block radius, this is the one. I think I will be playing in this world, for quite awhile.
Hi! I suggest you use webs.com for your website, it is 100% free. For multiworld configuration, using multiverse will work( multiverse is a plugin). Since this is your family, a basic shared hosting with 1-2GB of ram would be enough. With multiverse, you can create a new world with /mv create <world name>.
Thank you for input. Webs.com would be good for a family website, but if I wanted a forum on it, I would need a database so Webs.com would be out. So I could get a shared hosting plan with at least 1-2GB, put multiverse on it and then I could use that shared hosting for my family forum also.
Okay, I am basically a noob when it comes to servers. I have had some experience with shared hosting and running a Forum.
I am on an extreme small budget, so this plays a role in my decision. My problem. I want to run a small Minecraft server for family. At the most, there will be maybe 5-6 people on it. I also would like to have a family web page and/or forum for family and friends. So do I need a domain name or two domain names? Can I run a family web site with a Minecraft server?

(Maybe a world for the kids and another world for adults, and a world for Christmas time.)....so what kind of hosting should I get.....shared? totally love the banter with these "crazy" theories. Helps to calm down, know that your world is changed forever and what should I do now with the rest of my world.My village was so totally in puzzle pieces after it's chunk error rage attack, and I was not able straighten them out, so I made the decision to loose that world. Heart breaking, but it could have been worse. No one really has a had real plausible theory....except it was a chunk error.(then that lead to the theory that
possibility that the chunk error knew what was doing and was taking revenge.
Good to know that the OP can laugh about it with us as we come up ideals on why the minecraft game and mobs might have a plan in mind for revenge for him. I was sad when my world glitched.I just played 2 whole weeks in that world.....and I forgot to remove the setting fo the profile for it NOT to download and install the latest updates (snapshots). I cried....I reprimanded myself for not going back to not download the latest snapshot, but in my mind....I couldn't get over the picture in my brain, of a villager trying to get back into a half a house that was sitting on top of another half of house.
They say laughter is the best medicine and I sure had a lot of it tonight with this imagery. Maybe Minecraft itself is telling us that it is a game and to have fun with it, no matter what happens.

I had this happen to me in the past, cause I forgot to turn off snapshots on my main profile so when I went to play..it updated it to the latest snapshot. When I went to play, half my village houses were missing a side and a couple of them had the second half....on top of the first house. It was hilarious after I calmed down from losing that world.

There is a mod called doggy talents, that might interest you. You can level up your dog and give them skill points for different areas including fire protection. . Of course the mod is not updated yet for 1.7.2. I have only recently discovered this mod myself, so I am still playing with it, but it looks promising for helping our canine friends to help us.
There is no animation on the profile page, I am guessing that paul had added a mod to show the skin. Going into game is not the only way you can see your own skin. There are website where you search the username of Minecraft you are looking for and it either downloads or shows you the skin.

Okay, not sure where to post this, but when I go to change my skin, I go to minecraft account ->Profile and I see the tabs for browse and upload. I thought this was all there was to the skins, but then I saw a video by paulsoarsjr and it showed an animation of Steve and when he uploaded a skin, and the page refreshed, the animation showed the new skin on the profile page.Is this animation still there on the profile page and if so, why am I missing it? I am using Firefox and I did allow popups for minecraft.net. Not sure what other settings I need to tweak, if I am suppose to be seeing this.I can browse and upload the skin....and the only way to see what it looks like, is to go to my minecraft launcher, log in and see it after I log in my game.
Mojang sends a cover letter about resellers and the request for a refund, however a lot of 3rd party resellers are not legit. There a ton of them that use code generators and they are selling Accounts they do not own in the first place. So the resellers do NOT get the money back...it is just all the accounts they have made, become suspicious and Mojang revokes the accounts that have been "resold" as they were "NOT legally" purchased in the first place.
It would be like, you have purchased a car from someone, and when you want to title it, you find out that the person sold you a stolen car. The car belongs to Mojang, and you purchased it from a thief. Does that make you the owner now instead of Mojang? No... the car still belongs to Mojang....and unfortunately the thief has your money and you don't have the car or the money. Mojang has no responsibility to give you the car.

Send a picture if possible. - I don't have a picture, but I would like a girl with medium to long pink hair straight hair) She needs to be in a long dress/coat and I want it in red and green (gold and silver is also good for accents. I want it to be for a Christmas skin...so anything along that will be fine. 2. If you want a hat on the skin (Another layer over the head) tell me (add detail) - it doesn't have to have a hat, but if earmuffs or another type hat enhances the dress that is fine. I kinda like wizard style hats, but I don't know if that is possible with a Christmas theme 3. Should I PM it, email it, or post it on the forum?- you can PM it. 4. Can I post it as an example?- yes of course you can post it as an example. 5. Any other info here :3 - I am not into any "sexy" type dress...just a nice respectable Christmas type outfit. A typical Caroler comes into mind. One with "pink" hair. LOL
