This week, the server is finishing up writing lore and the staff are going to get started on their nations. Next Saturday, the gates open and everyone will be whitelisted and able to join.
We have a bit of lore we would like your input on. Come join a nation based on the suits of a deck of cards. Help build that community and compete against the others. Rank up and show off your skills. The server will be Towny focused with some rpg elements as well as jobs.
I am looking for 4 staff members. This is an unpaid position as this server is does not deal with donations. I handle the cost of everything.

I want to come up with an idea with others, hopefully 4-ish others so we have at least a strong base of 5 people pushing the roleplay. I will be covering cost of hosting, it won't be a pay to win server. I'm looking at doing quality of life, protection, and lore supporting plugins, it is negotiable of course.
I am working on revamping my server. It will be a 1.18.2 paper server with some plugins. I am falling back to my favorite plugin: Towny. There will be 4 nations and 4 towns to start. Towns will be a bit pricy to push people to work together or at least start in someone else's town to begin.

EliteEnchantments (200+ new enchantments and items that drop from mobs)
Oh The Dungeons You'll Go (random dungeons throughout the server and you can create your own)
I want to have weekly war between nations (no damage to your builds just pvp) once the four cities have at least 4 people in each. Tall order, I know.
I will be putting up more info on the server soon, but if you are interested in heading a starter nation and starting since lore, please let me know. I need 3 others. It will be deck of cards themed.
There are no donations on this server, I finance it, it is just for fun. Most players will be 18+ and friendly.

It will be whitelisted to those who are approved. It will be 1.15.2 and updated to 1.16 with a nether wipe. I will be using the same data packs hermit craft uses. This will be a server based on respect for other players. I found a seed similar to hermit craft but not exactly the same to allow for exploring.

Not really a faction leader but a community leader and a builder. War on towny is not often used in other server, so I think it will be great to get going like a normal raid game schedule.

A friend of mine and I have been hand building sky islands for a pixelmon server that has a unique route and feel to it. We have been at this a long time and could use a few hands to help us finish up the first set of routes while we finish fixing some technical things. This isn't a paid position, we don't expect any revenue, it is all just for the fun of playing on a server. There are a few requirements you need to fit only for the practicality of the work that is being asked of you.
be competent with world edit. Building islands in a void can often be a challenge and world edit does wonders.
be willing to take direction. I leave a lot to artistic licence but I do have specific things that will be needed.
be over 13. I would prefer over 18, but beggars can't be too choosy.
So i am looking for items that cant be crafted and are not used in recipes. They can't be placed or worn. Just a bunch of items that could be used on a server for quests. They can be every day items like a shoe or left sock. A lost baseball or box of crayons. Just some stuff that could be given by some npcs that only give stuff by item id rather than NBT data.
Update: proficiency in building sky islands is a must. Looking for 3 builders to be specific on a number. Perks on server for VIP are a starting kit with great balls and 5 rare candies.
