    Oranges. ;D

Yeah! Especially those small Clementine things. But I don't really snack a lot, especially at the computer.

Looping. The gigantic ones are kind of intimidating, but the second-to-largest always get me excited.

I like ones with loops. It is funny to see people wearing flips flops sometimes lose them. If I was designing a roller coaster, I would put a fenced in area under the loops to collect fallen items.

For real life stuff, cut long thin strips of a old shirt or something, wrap it around your arms and hands in a way the allows movement and use some sort of gauze to hold it. I used it when I was learning parkour. Absorbs impact better and allows better grip.

First go after the people that she hangs out with. They are part of the problem and must be stopped from giving her peer pressure. But she would not be doing this if there was not something wrong. How is her home life? Bad parents or something maybe. Anyway just find what the problem is then comfort her or even call the authorities if something is really wrong.

    Quote from mattbob »
Usually, the bottom line is whether or not they can get buses out to pick up the kids and bring them to school. If the weather isn't so bad that it won't be cleared out soon, it's a delay. If there isn't enough time to have a school day of decent length, it's a snow day. There's probably other things, like "Will kids who walk to school be able to make it?", but I'm pretty sure the buses are one of the biggest factors.

Yes, they don't close the schools because students would have a hard time, it is the buses. Also you have to take into account what kind of snow it is and how frequently your area gets snow. If the snow is wet and has gotten a chance to melt some, then the next morning it will be frozen. If there is tons of snow then it will melt a whole lot slower and can be removed by plow easily. Also the experience of the bus drivers. Imagine a day with terrible conditions in a low altitude part of Arizona. Those bus drivers have no idea how to drive on that so they decide to close. But in my town, Gallup NM(high altitude desert, we get a lot of snow), our drivers are used to it so it has to be a real shitstorm for it to close.

Ladon, age 15. Have been playing Minecraft for some time now. Me and a couple of people migrated here from a game called incredibots over 15 months ago. I have played every game mode extensively. On survival, I spend the first couple of days underground, preparing. Then once I have sufficient material I create a castle/fortress in a location somewhat removed from any major populous. I connect with other people via minecart and waterbridge, both of which I take great pride in building and making attractive. So I think I would fit in with this server. Please PM me if I am accepted. I am an old player(experience wise), who is just getting lonely in single player.

I have been looking for something like this. Single player gets a bit lonely. I do not have a microphone, but I am a fast typist and will not slow down anyone.

I have a weird condition where I unconsciously stop breathing while doing hardcore exorcise. The weird thing is, I only notice I am not breathing because after like 60 seconds I start to get an immobilizing headache. I have to consciously breathe when backpacking swimming or sprinting.

posted a message on Space Exploration
I never have gotten why traveling faster than light is impossible.Say your house suddenly when into space and traveled at exactly the speed of light. Then if you pick up an object and throw it, would it simply not move? That argument is probably full of ignorance, but I would greatly appreciate if someone would help me understand this.

First, before we go into space, we have to resolve some problems here. Space exploration is impossible to do effectively because of the cost to one nation. But, if we united all the nations then we could focus outside earth. I read earlier in this thread someone wanting the US to own the moon. Hell no. I don't trust a single nation to such an important gateway to further space exploration. Its like giving a disobedient child the key to a candy store in the middle of the night. He will reap the benefits of his short term advantage to take the candy. The next day all the other kids have nothing to buy because the America took it all. Same for all other countries. All countries look out for themselves, so if we put funding decisions up to the UN everyone would regulate each other and have their own say in matters.

Second, addressing the population issues(if you dont feel like reading this then watch it.Search Demographic winter on youtube). "The population crisis" is funny because most people think that we have too many people on earth. Well, granted right now we have a lot of people starving and whatnot, but that is just because we waste about 40 % of all food. Newsflash: most countries are losing population. The ones that are gaining rapidly(india china african countries) are starting to be more modern. See it used to be before all this fancy technology that people were dieing left and right. Ever heard that 2.1 children per couple are required to sustain a population? It used to be well about 3. That made a big boom in population. But now people dont have babies like they used to, in countries that are past this modernization. It will end in the developing countries too within the next hundred years. The old are now making up a very large percentage of the population and that will ensure no economic recovery.

After we get those issues solved we will be able to reach farther into space.

Its like evolution for games. The competition between similar games causes better performance. In the end the bads one will just die out.
