Although the AnimationAPI is supposed to be easier for modders to use, it still is quite complicated, so a tutorial has been made to guide you modders along the way. For other information, you can check the rest of the wiki.

For users:
Locate .minecraft
>> Click Start and type %appdata% into the Search area
>> Click the folder that is called Roaming
>> Find the folder inside called .minecraft
Move the mod zip file to .minecraft/mods
Play!

Extract the src zip
Move the folder called 'thehippomaster' inside MCP's src/minecraft/ directory

We have been taking a short break. I have done a few models and textures. We are starting up again now.

For now the models are final. At some point (when we get a coder who is good at rendering and animating) we will redo the rendering and animations.

+ Start as human (or change config to start as dragon)
+ Villagers drop a heart 75% when killed
+ Added 7 new dragons (Fire, Earth, Water, Eagle, Gold, Night and Skeleton)
+ Dragon can eat villager heart (poison to humans)
+ Guards do not attack humans
+ No dragon powers when a human
+ Added a Staff for each dragon
+ Added Dragon eggs for each dragon
+ All eggs except the Silver dragon egg can be found in certain biomes.
- Removed fireballs from chests. You now use the staff to throw fireballs
+ Staffs have a cool down for some abilities
+ Squids drop food that can only be eaten by Water Dragons
+ Dragons can only eat certain foods now, see wiki
+ Each dragon has it's own abilities most of which are activated with the staff.
+ Villagers drop a skull 25%

Today is that day we all have been waiting for since the last release. Later today I will release the mod for everyone to play. It features new dragons, dragon abilities and a staff for each dragon to toggle human or dragon form and their different abilities.

Small update!
We have added the Skeleton Dragon with Invisibility.
We also added a new funtcion where you start off as a player and have turn into a dragon (the silver dragon) using a staff.
I have modeled and textured the Water Dragon and textured the Gold Dragon.
I will add pics and update the thread ASAP.

Both of those are planned for the dragon/combat update. As we stated before we weren't focusing on the 3rd person view until we add more dragons.
