Before spreading rumors read twitter and news next time. Notch already said its just an placeholder and he is working on collision model for the version of dragons wich spawn in normal world also but arent able to destroy terrain.
The shown ENDERDRAGON is a boss type which can only be found in THE ENDER. (Because of that the title was "Why Enderdragon will NOT spawn in the main world!")
3 for you.
WOW! You are space-rhino thick. My head would explode if I actually took the time to read his twitter, because it seems only to prove my suspicions are accurate. If you're trying to disprove my claims, it would be best that you don't provide support for my speculations. Though I do thank you for the help.
It's a placeholder means that it's not the real thing. It's a proof of concept. Notch is really quite good a proving concepts. He's not so good when it comes to delivery on implemented version. So what is preventing the real thing turning out to be a joke compared to this?
It flies smoothly because it doesn't have to worry about collisions is not a rumor, it's fact as Notch apparently stated that only the "boss" one will do this.
Once again, I think that it's quite nifty, but they've taken the easy way out by giving it a destructo-land to spawn in(The Ender) and

Something on the order of 1/8th the size of a chunk per block is an estimate of the footprint it would require to support this. The griefing potential alone was enough for Eloraam to not even bother considering implementing the idea.

From what I've seen, I believe it is safe to assume that being "well known" and actively participating in discussion is the method that she uses to choose her beta testers. Though I can't deny I wouldn't sign-up if it were offered, the problems that come with "unknowns" helping one beta-test are something I believe Eloraam would like to avoid.

fixed that for you.

On Earth it is impossible. Punching a tree* down is also impossible on Earth.
In Minecraft there is no evidence that suggests atmospheric pressure operates similar to Earth.
Nothing prevents me from adding a source block 50+ meters above the lake I'm drawing from to functionally bring the surface level of the lake to be far, far above the pump.

If she were to choose to do that, shouldn't I be able to create a negative pressure from a higher placed source to suction it up? In doing so, wouldn't that let me create BT instead of consuming it to complete the operation?
Personally, I'd love me some BT watermills.Watermills are rather silly in MC given the nature of source-blocks.0
Vanilla Redstone is a shinning example of poor implementation, as such it should be remembered simply to show us what we shouldn't do. If that system didn't also cause pistons to behave poorly, we could declare it dead. Unfortunately, we'll likely have that gremlin to remind us of it forever.

Well that spoils my plans for a Von Neumann miner.

Overwriting forge modified classes will break forge using mods.
1
Yes, it's broken, try the new debroken one.
A somewhat widely used method was deprecated and removed from forge. The version of forge worked thus it reached "recommended" status, but this broke RP and BC among others. While I like active development, I have to question why exactly have we seen dozens of forge releases in the past week?

I thought what was wrong with America is that decisions are made by people who are unqualified to make them and incapable of any other action.

I'm not opposed to Eloraam adding one. With numerous options from other mods(many of which are often present with RP) and a possible official source in the works, I don't believe it really needs done anytime soon unless Eloraam decides to go on a bender and winds up coding and spriting Red Power - Food.

Yes, however after rebuilding your device there seems to be some difficult to decipher interaction from it's operation.
There is a bug here, but I'm not quite certain exactly what it is. I believe that it's a GUI element getting cloned so that it looks like it's duplicating items, but I'm not certain it isn't duplicating.
This layout will provide the same function with only one deployer but only provides for single bonemeal input at a time:
brown wool =/= brown dye.
I can't make brown paint with brown wool.
At present with just RP, you're good for any colour but brown. But I've heard that Jeb's thinking about adding cocoa drops to jungle trees. So it's possible this will be resolved, but I don't believe that Eloraam will address it in the near future. Alternatively IC2 also lets one breed/farm cocoa, so that's an option if you have it installed as well.

They're most useful when used as a gathering point for an automated crafting device. BC's auto-crafting table or Forestry's carpenter both possess the ability to supply from an adjacent chest/buffer. I've found that I'm able to run two nearly similar recipes from just 2 crafters and a single buffer. The sectioning allows me to keep it full without one type of item consuming all the space.
Now if I could just get a micro-buffer-transposer that only had 1-2 spaces and would output a single item on Redstone pulse.

I'm glad your tests have proven that what Eloraam posted when they were released are still accurate.
Snow/Ice & Lava checkerboard would produce ~1A per 'pile but that requires some support structure to maintain the snow & lava.

You're kidding right? Wool is ridiculously easy to get now. And that's not even using flax.
I've got two stacks of white wool. All from manually harvesting and replanting a whopping 4 flax plots when I go past them. Had I put in some simple automation I'd have chests of the damn stuff.
Though it would be nice if I could use a paintbrush on the wires. *hint* *hint*
