It could be possible. I was gonna reason why it wouldn’t, but since the Looting Enchantment gives mobs (mobsAREentities) more chance to drop more stuff, I decided the Silk Touch Enchant could give the Boat Entity 100% chance of dropping the boat item and 0% of Wooden Planks and Sticks.
Can I have a gift code? My parents won’t buy me one because they think I will just play it all day, which I won’t, I will instead be commentating on it and making Let’s Plays of it. I am in a single digit (age keeping private, will PM if needed) and I am creative with building. Using Mineshafter ATM which isn’t good because after [1.0.0] you can’t play on official servers.
Also I have not earned money yet from my Terraria LP and so if I DO reach the money needed, I will buy it myself.
Um, that isn’t the log we’re lookin’ for, bud (lol language FTW).
Get MCPatcher (no need to patch it, don’t worrah), execute the application, click on Test Minecraft, and when it black-screens it should come up an error log that you need to put in [spoiler]s.
Not sure but most the mods I've downloaded require you to delete the META-INF folder or something in the Jar. Failing to do so results in a black screen in my experience. Also, yes, I am 99.7% sure it's your mods. If you want a new Jar, there's an options button on the launch screen that allows you to force update.
Just as I said above, I deleted the two certificates. I don’t know if deleting them corrupts it.
Edit: I mean, it shouldn’t corrupt it because that is what causes Minecraft to black-screen. When you delete META-INF, it deletes the certificates that caused Minecraft to black-screen.
Guys, you don’t even need to be too harsh on him. In fact, that’s what I expected (“DISTRUBUTING MINECRAFT.JAR EVEN VANILLA ONEZ IS ILLEGAUL”) from the responses when I first read the OP.
Two words: He’s new.
If you don’t know what new means (and I assume you do) then I can define it for you.
Not sure of the context here, but you could check for the presence of the portal technical block (ID 90).
I think you should also check for the “presence” of the Obsidian Blocks (IDs are up on Minepedia) to verify the Nether Portal was built legitimantly (<-- GCSC Y U SUCK). And check the Obsidian Blocks being 4×5 and the 2×3 Portal Technical Blocks also. I don’t know if that would be possible, but that is my assumption.
Edit: Now for what magical reason my minecraft.jar made itself not corrupted (or at least according to MCPatcher), so I can finally get a lo—o?
When MCPatcher launches Minecraft, it doesn’t actually launch the game. When I launch it manually it black-screens.
I could show you the MCPatcher log, the part where it launches.
When I figure that out I will post a new topic in Modding Discussion with an error log! If…there’s even one…

Old Post: Thread Title: Corrupted .jar File?’Sup,
I don’t know if this is the right place to post it this.
But this topic is not about that.
Anyways, I tried opening launching my Minecraft after it has been modded in this order—Single Player Commands, Zombe’s ModPack; ModLoader; Rei’s Minimap. I deleted the two .classcertificate files.
When I open up Minecraft, black-screen. No error logs. Oh, well, time to get MCPatcher and fetch a log then.
Oh, wait. MCPatcher says I have a corrupted.jar. What does this mean? What do I have to do to have it not corrupted? I assume “oh, just force update and blah-blah-blah”.

I was looking forward to make a mod like this called EarthCraft, but thanks for doing it for me.
Suggestions: Have Tools with no damage values, configurable.

I think modders need to have a “check your \mods folder” (apparently \ on Italic makes it look weird) thing because I think that is the case.

And of course, is it the mods?
