posted a message on Minecraft keeps crashing on me

Hello to whoever is reading this! Recently, I have been having a problem trying to play Minecraft, because every time that I play, whether it is single player or multiplayer, when the game starts, Minecraft crashes on me. When I load Minecraft, it opens up fine, but it is only when I either click on a world to play it in singleplayer or click on a server to play multiplayer that it crashes on me. In the menu, however, it is fine. Here is the crash report below, thanks for anyone who can help me! Also, if you help me, could you tell me what part of the crash report told you the problem, so maybe I could figure out the problem on my own in the future? Thank you!

posted a message on Minecraft Story Mode Rant

While I tend to look at the story aspect of most games more than I do the graphical aspect (hell, we are all playing Minecraft), I do have to agree with most of these points. I liked the game's storyline, and for an E10+ game, the story was great. Other than that though, I agree. It felt like it was made too quick. It was buggy like crazy. Lips were off more than they should have been. I had a lot of framerate drops (and I have a really good laptop) and it felt unoptimized. And so many more things. Again, I appreciate this game as a story for kids 10 and up, but that's about all. I agree also, it certainly isn't the worst game ever made, but it needed a lot more work before release.

Age: 18 will turn 19 this month

    Requested Position: Anything available

Experience: I have been playing Minecraft for about a few years now. I have been a builder on a few servers. I am Super-Admin on my friend's server. I am also head of staff on my friend's server. I have worked on building Hogwarts with a bunch of others. If you need any pixel art done, I am rather good at it.

Screenshots: Sadly no... I have a new computer and all my photos were on my old one.

Requested Position: Admin/Manager or Web Dev if available.

Experience: I have the experience your looking for, i used to own a successful server that latest 3 1/2 years but due to the hosting service relinquishing i was forced to shutdown. I am well matured, i listen to all staff members. (i am also a junior developer). I started Co-Owning servers from late 2012. I believe i should have this rank because once you get to know me you will tell I am very trustworthy, I love to play, I am respectful and kind. I love to play a lot I can play after practice on weekdays on weekends. I can play most of the day as long as you need me. I love to talk to the community and I know when to ban, mute and Temp-Ban. I am currently not staff on any server so I can be secluded to one server and give it my all to do this right. Gaming & IT is my life as a teen so far. I am very mature when i need to be other times i like to have fun aswell. I know my limits I'd say i am good at Minecraft and know what to say when to say it.

Requested Position: Any managerial position is preferred but I'll also be useful in a Moderation type position.

    Experience:

Like the majority of other applicants, I have experience in running and moderating a variety of small servers ran by friends or otherwise. However, where I stand out as regards my past experience is the pleasure I had to work at the famous Hypixel server as a Helper (can verify). Out of thousands of applicants I was chosen and it was the best feeling in the world. The Hypixel staff team were one of the best I had ever worked with and although there was a few bad apples, the rest of them shone and it was a privilege to work with famous faces such as Codename_B, AgentKid and of course Hypixel himself. My role as Helper was a pretty universal one; handling questions, welcoming players, recording hackers, monitoring the chat and overall just being a good welcoming friendly staff member who would try make player's time on the server as enjoyable as possible. Another server which I think is important to mention is my most recent staff position: Moderator at Multicube - a server which was ran and owned by SyndicateHD/SynHD the famous streamer and youtuber. Sadly however the server recently shut down due to a lack of money (can still verify my postion). I held the rank of Moderator here and while it shared the same roles as Helper, I also had to deal with player reports, monitor the forums, view evidence from Helpers, handle complaints etc. I enjoyed my time working for both server and they both have enabled me to grow as a person and a staff member.

I have also held down a variety of IRL jobs which means I have experience in dealing with customers and I am currently in University studying Sociology, Information + Social Computing and International Relations.

    EPOCH NETWORKS

    Epoch Networks

Hello everyone! Today I bring you an application for staff hiring at our minecraft server, Epoch Networks. Epoch Networks is a server network that has multiple types of servers in it. For each server, we are going to have different game types (like most servers). Some of the games we will provide are

    • Factions
    • Survival
    • Zombie Survival
    • Minigames
    • Story Mode
    • and many more!

We will have many different types of plugins, and very powerful server systems built to help keep any potential lag out. We also will have many custom and hand-coded plugins to make the gameplay at Epoch Networks unique and original.

    A little backstory on us...

Epoch Networks is a project that is created, hosted, and maintained by a company called DediOutlet LLC's subsidiary Minecraft hosting service, BitNode. This project was made to help produce interests in our services, while also promoting fun and activity with the valuable people of Minecraft. After all, DediOutlet has origins in being a part of Minecraft server hosting at first, and because of the growth in us so far, it would be shocking for us to not want to give back to the people who helped us grow. After deciding that we would like to host a server, we set out to begin using servers stored at DediOutlet to help us in this project. Because this project is hosted and sponsored by DediOutlet LLC, the servers that we use will be of top-quality.

There are 4 main staff positions that need to be filled for our server to work, and if more come down the road, that they will be updated on this web page. Also, please note that even if you don't have server staff experience, that does not automatically mean you will not be reviewed. Here is the application for the server. Just copy and paste it into a replay and answer the questions, then re-upload

    Name: Kyle (IRL), KyleTheBoss95 (in-game)

    Skype: kyle.vondra95

    Age: 20

Price: Negotiable (I would work for free if college wasn't so flipping expensive)

Other: I am currently in College for Internet Technology. I also am learning game developing and designing on the side as a hobby, and hope to make it my career in the future. I have a friend who is in college for game development, and we want to make a game studio down the road. I am a great worker, and many people will agree that I am a pleasure to be around. You can ask any of my managers at my job irl that I am very dependable, and work very hard, especially when determined. I also work in a networking company, and might even be able to hook you up with some dependable servers pretty cheap, because I am good friends with the owner.

    LORE WRITER

Experience: I am in the process of writing/designing my own video game on the side, and have been very creative all my life. My brother and I used to go outside and create magical worlds, and we would act them out as if we were in them. I think that this creativity will be very helpful in creating lore that can be related to by each player, and help build the bonds between server owners and player. I love plot twists, and many times, my stories involve a huge turning point in the story that changes everything around.

Example of Work/Portfolio: While the story isn't complete yet, I have a document that I would kindly share with you on Google Drive if you would like.

Complete the prompt minimum 100 words about “Two sides feuding in a battle that has going on for an eternity”: The Nerlons (NER-lawns) and the Sheaelph (SHE-elf) have been fighting for over 120 years. The Nerlons had invited you to join them as a secret agent, but you refuse at first. After some convincing, the Nerlons explain that the Sheaelph have been using many of the recent scientific discoveries to try and create a biological weapon that could threaten the leaders of the world and humanity. They tell you that the Sheaelph have always wanted world domination, and were always looking for ways to achieve that. You are put in charge to help stop them. As you go around the world to destroy the Sheaelph research labs, you learn disturbing information that makes you question whether you are on the good side, or you are on the bad side...

(I wasn't sure if the story had to be related to what the server is about, but if so, I can re-write another plot. Sorry it wasn't very long either, I have college work that needs to get done, but I can make it longer if you want )

    DEVELOPER/ADMIN:

Knowledge in Coding: I did my senior high school project on Java, so I have a basic concept of Java as a language, but sadly not much experience in coding it. I am still in the early learning phases, but I am trying to increase my experience in Java, Unity, C++, and Python for game development purposes. I am, however, learning HTML and CSS in college.

Knowledge of bukkit configurations and plugins: I have worked and dealt with many of the plugins for minecraft, and while although I am still learning, I tend to learn very quickly.

Experience: I have been an admin for several minecraft servers, and a mod for several others, but they all failed because of crappy ownership.

Can you create custom plugins that are functional: As of now, no. However, I am learning on the side of work, school, and family, I am teaching myself coding and as previously mentioned, I tend to learn pretty quickly with technology.

Downloading the map now to try out. I am so excited for it! Also, if I were you, instead of using AdFly, I would recommend using AdFocus. They pay up to $6.70/1,000 clicks. Compare that to AdFly that pays $5.00/10,000 clicks. Click here to go and use it. I like what you are doing with your money, and I fully support it, just thought you might want to make a little extra on it.

Hey! I think I have already said, but I love your map! It is the best I have ever played! One question, how do I get to the Eastern Island quest? I have gotten to the small island with the sign, and went to the larger island behind it, but I am not sure what to do. Any help please?

I just realized that I have already said that this map is better than Hypixel's because you used my quote. Ehh, oh well. I guess you could say that it helps get my point across. Lol.

Has anyone ever told you that enderbent is better than Hypixel's maps? Because so far, it is. I LOVE this map, so much. It has brought me hours and hours of fun. This is by far the best and most well-thought map that I have ever played, and is my favorite. The only thing that I wish was easier was getting around. I think there is a way where you can make a book that has JSON commands in it, and I think it would be cool if you got the book at the beginning of the map, and the farther you got in the map, the more waypoints that were added to the book. That way when you are done with a dungeon or something, you can just open the book and click a link that says something like "[Home]" and then you teleport to your first home. It would also help you from forgetting where you kept both of your houses. But that is just my opinion. Keep up the good work!
