    Warning: Spoilers contain what could possibly be considered incoherent ramblings.

    If you want to believe that the string graphic is in binary, then depending on how you look at it, it can say a few things:
    If you assume it is right side up then:

    0011000100110010001100010011001000110001001100100011000100110010

    assume every byte is a new character then they convert to these numbers
    49 50 49 50 49 50 49 50
    142 44 142 44 142 44 142 44
    if you use them as standard alt+code/ascii/unicode/or w/e it's called where you type them as alt+0049 etc.
    you get:
    1 2 1 2 1 2 1 2

    which comes out to 0 2 1 1 2 3 0 0 2 1 1 1 2 2 0 1 (binary to decimal) repeated 4 times, I'll let someone else figure out what you want it to mean, you could try converting that from base 4 or 8 or hex, 4 would probably be most "alien" *rolls eyes* not sure how you would convert that to ascii though.
    I'll do base 4 I guess break into groups of 4 starting with 0211 you get 37

    so the 4 groups become:
    37 = % or %
    176 = ° or ░
    149 = • or ò
    161 = ¡ or í

    so %°•¡ or %░òí

    not going to try other bases

    Note: Just realized that converting from binary to decimal to base 4 then back to decimal is the same as grouping the bits into bytes then converting binary to decimal -_- way for me to waste even more time and energy on something that doesn't matter.

    Note: *look at previous spoiler's note*

    Regardless, I don't think there is any sense in converting this string into binary as it would simply be the same one or two characters/strings/symbols/(whatevers) repeated four times. However, I was bored and decided to do a bit of conversion though it's far from a perfectly accurate conversion, but it's what I felt like doing instead of working on my Physics homework. XD

    What is the appropriate legal age for a 26 year old

    From what I remember just about anyone over 18 is legal for a 26 year old. 16 in some places in the US as long as it's consenting and the parents consent. She can be as young as 12 in Panama, Mexico, and Colombia, and as old as 21 in Cameroon (source) so I guess it really depends, but I'd say if she's 21 or older you should be fine regardless of the country. As long as she isn't "spoken for" then you might as well just spend your 26th sleeping, it's probably the best idea anyway.

    Pretty sure it is illegal for a 25 year old man to do a girl. Although I suppose that would depend on what country he is celebrating his birthday in.

    sigh. fine... a female human of appropriate legal age for a 26 year old. Also I meant 26 on my previous post. XD

    A girl.

    If that's not an option, you can do what I did for my 25th 26th (edit) sleep for the entire day because you can (took the day off work and everything =D).

    Currently 26 to get on topic.

    This was a reply to ONE specific person, no where does he say if people can't afford it then they should pirate it. If you're going to use this as a way to get around it by saying "Notch said I could" then notice that he said that AndresLeay could, not you. What he did say you could do was mentioned by Mute 4 posts above and also gave the link. I suggest reading it, then read it again, then just for good measure read it again. He doesn't say you should pirate his game, he doesn't say he wants you to pirate his game, if anything he expresses his inability to stop you, nothing more.

    posted a message on Crafting Box (Crafting Table that Stores Items in Grid)
    This exists in the following mods:
    1) buildcraft called an automatic crafting table
    2) redpower2 called a project table

    There are probably others out there, but I'd love to see a similar block in vanilla minecraft or have the code for the current crafting table altered to allow for item persistence after exiting the GUI.

    posted a message on Mojang consists of real, live people. Treat them the way you should treat friends, elders, AND strangers.
    Quote from Wanderer

    And I will certainly be there to give you one! Glad we could find common ground. It took a long time of staring Witches in the face and thinking "wut?" to realize there had to be more to them. And I'm not sure how right my theory is... but at least it illustrates how updates have every possibility to be more than what they appear.

    Just like recent changes to the engine, in the last snapshot, allowing us to tie tileEntity data to a fallingSand entity (so you could use a spawner to spawn a chest with contents). These are the kinds of unlisted tweaks and changes that I think 99% of people not named "Sethbling" would never even know were put into the game.

    But I can promise - and I will take the personal responsibility to apologize, should I be wrong - I promise that the Mod API is driving current updates to a certain extent.

    It's funny seeing this from someone outside my own mind, from hearing/reading that Mojang was going to release a Mod API, I immediately started thinking, "how are they going to account for (insert hook from Modloader/Forge) that allowed (insert some cool item/ability)"??? Examples: buildcraft/redpower pipes/tubes, industrial craft power cables along with many other mods that add power cables. Things like computercraft and redpower's computers. BTW's machines, and host of other things not native to vanilla mindcraft mechanics and its core. I don't consider myself a programmer as of yet, though I do program on my own (my most notable being a horrible rendition of the Towers of Hanoi game in C played in the CMD, works, but looks horrible) but I can see that there is a massive amount of things that need to be taken into account before the Mod API would be even remotely useful. Mobs, dynamic blocks, dimensions, lighting, effects (lightening, shooting fire, etc), and simply a huge quantity of things not thought of. AND this is just from looking at the mods that exist today, this doesn't take into account mods that are still in work or haven't yet to be thought of. If the community wants mods to do what they do now then this Mod API has to be built in such a way that it will allow for just about anything to be added at anytime and the best way to do that is not to just release the API without a second thought and be like, "well at least we kept our promise!"

    Personally I'm glad that Mojang is putting out these updates, I'm one of the few that when I saw the tileEntity data tied to fallingSand entity - as well as the other updates to mob spawners and the like over the past several updates and snap shots - I couldn't help but think that they were "pre"-steps to assisting with the Mod Api. Heck, I even thought when I saw bats for the first time, "I wonder if they will land on the ceiling?" and they did, this opens new avenues for other mobs, perhaps someone will make a mod where spiders (or some other mob) can not only climb on walls but the ceiling as well?

    It's late so I'm not sure if I made much sense, but I'm pretty sure if I was more alert I could pour over the minecraft code as well as the forums and test objects and scenarios in minecraft and I could probably give you a few pages worth of things that Mojang has added over the past several updates and snapshots that will directly effect the Mod API implementation.

    Mojang deserves some respect and if you really don't like giving out your respect, for what ever reason, they at least do not deserve as much disrespect as they get. The main thing is they haven't stopped working on the game. It's true they've made changes that don't seem to make much sense at the moment, but for the actual modders out there, when the Mod API is finally released, I can already see a lot of them saying, "OOOoooohhhh... now i see..." There's no reason to think Mojang is going to default on any of the promises made, they may not be in the time schedule that was originally assumed, they are still getting ever closer to them.

    I showed my support of this topic by rep upping.

    Patience, my god what ever happened to patience???

    Quote from Netherspawn

    TL;DR - 'I'm a Mojang fanboy and I demand that you worship Mojang as I do.'

    Mojang fails hard. Deal with it. No, it's not hating, it's the sad truth.

    Imagine what they could have added. Advanced crafting, new biomes, new items, new ores, new plants, new mobs, new dimensions, new devices, spiced up combat. Now look what we have received. Boring alchemy, boring enchanting, half-done End, villages. All of those are a major waste of development time which could have been spent on more valuable features.

    But look... they added freaking ALCHEMY!, ENCHANTING!, a new dimension (hmmm I could have sworn the End was a dimension), VILLAGES!, villagers, new plants (did you not see the jungles, carrots, patatos?), new mobs (have you not seen witches, villagers, bats, wolves, ocelots, dragon, wither, wither skeletons, iron golems, and blazes?), new devices (er... hoppers, droppers, comparator (sp?), trapped chests? (probably more i'm forgetting)), new ores (quartz), new ...
    you know what.. I'm going to bed.

    posted a message on Missing Dots in Tools and Materials
    It has to do with rendering usually at higher resolutions, the problem arises from when you have 2 lines or shapes drawn right next to each other but the sides don't match up:

    like this:
    :soil: :: :soil:
    :: :soil: :: :soil:
    :: :: :soil: :: :soil:
    :: :: :: :soil: :: :soil:
    :: :: :: :: :soil: :: :soil:
    :: :: :: :: :: :soil: :: :soil:

    instead of like this

    :soil: :soil:
    :: :soil: :soil:
    :: :: :soil: :soil:
    :: :: :: :soil: :soil:
    :: :: :: :: :soil: :soil:
    :: :: :: :: :: :soil: :soil:

    Though this is what causes it and though the lines aren't always at that angle (obviously) there is nothing you can really do about it. You could try adjusting the resolution of your minecraft window but that again... would be annoying for you smaller resolutions of your minecraft window "should" theoretically fix the problem. But as I said playing in a smaller window would probably only cause you more annoyance. The only other things I can think of that you could do is try to find a higher resolution texture pack, or find a way to turn on mip-mapping which could also correct the problem but probably not since it deals more with the terrain. Mip-mapping is available in optifine.

    Glass. You may place glass directly above a rail on a incline or curve and it will not interfere with the track or cart. As glass will not "cut" the incline track.

    Edit: Just realized this is the Xbox version. So I'm not sure if this still applies. Sry
