Hey guys, Glad to see a few of you here. Been seeing you since I started posting these mods here. Sorry that I was never able to do the changes I wanted for this mod. The code was so insane because it kept being added to since 1.2.5 without cleaning it better. Not even the japanese community has been able to get the mod up to date.
@Svetek Of all the things in the LittleMaidMob source code that are mysterious and unknown to me, the way textures are loaded is one of them. I'm not against having a humongous amount of textures and models built in but the way things are organized now makes finding your model or texture harder then bobbing for apples. From my point of view I see two options, port LittleMaidMobNX's zip loader to Enhanced, remove all the preinstalled textures and models and put them in a zip for download; or revamp the GUI so you can easily pick a model then all textures compatible with that model and then pick an armor that's compatible with that model. Either way will be difficult and eventually I'll probably do them both.
BTW I don't know if you all know yet but I added a Miner maid class that actually works pretty decently, of course there is the possibility that she could dig straight down into some lava so give me feedback on any issues you have with them, I'll do my best to fix them.
Also with 1.9 out I'm sure more mods are targeting 1.8.9 as the version of choice, I'd like to know which version you guys prefer development for, I was thinking of switching development to 1.8.9 but I'm still swaying on it.
Part of what I wanted to do with the model GUI was to change it to something similar to Customnpcs
Hello all, keep using Legojr'sversion if you play 1.7.10. I don't know what happened to the repo :/ all my forks/projects got deleted, I had no notice of anything so I don't think it was github.
Posted up to date versions of the 1.8.9 line of maids, great additions in that one.
I tried doing both ways but none of them work. The way multimc does forge is a bit different. It's OK though, I setup a vanilla launcher thingie for the pack where I have seasons
I noticed that about the textures. I tried using conquest resource pack and leaves stayed vanilla. I'm gonna try to edit them and make them look "conquesty". As for biomes, I'm only using vanilla one, but using RTG as well but that only changes the generat ion, everything else about biomes stay the same.
Thanks! will give it a try. Also, for some reason the leaves won't change coloration now after I edited the dat file to make seasons last longer. Is it because of the change or are you aware of anything else messing with it. (I do not have optifine and using default texturepack)
Could someone share an example of a Texture Definition File?
There are some mods that show invisible blocks (ars magica/project red/others) and I want to define their textures but I don't know where or how the file needs to be structured as I can't find ANY example on the web. Much appreciated!
