    In the 1.15 update they changed the name of the folder and basically all of the files within it... but left a "compatibility mode" where it'd still read the old ones correctly from the older /blocks/ folder. However using this mode means the new stuff won't work. So if you want everything to work, you need to update all of your file names to the new version using the /block/ folder.     Thanks for the explanation. I tried to look at the new and old files, and the names were the same, but it seems like i didnt check enough files.
    Guess i have to update a lot of files then. Thanks a lot for the help, both of you!

    That's ... weird.
    I changed the folder from blocks to block, and the textures now work.. However, every other texture no longer works now.
    Do i have to make 2 seperate folders now, one "block" and one "blocks"? Very confusing.

    There's a lot of reason that things might not be working. You need to be specific on what you've done before we can diagnose the problem.



    Assets/minecraft/textures/blocks


    In there is a file called "blackstone", directly copied from the bin of 1.16 to the folder. Changing it does nothing. Same goes for chiseled_polished_blackstone, polished_blackstone_bricks and cracked_polished_blackstone_bricks.

    Every other file works just fine. I can change the glowstone for example, and it shows up. It's just these new files.


    As i said, even a direct copy from the bin to the folder won't react.

    Simple question, hoping for a simple answer ;)

    I textured the new blackstone bricks for my texture pack/resource pack, and added them to the pack. They are 64x64, and the rest of the pack works just fine, but whatever i do, these blackstone blocks arent changing their textures. Anyone know why this is the case?


    Edit: Moving the file over from the jar to texture pack, still in 16x16, will not change the textures ingame either.

    This should work, it overwrites 1.15.2 chest loot tables (I hope that's the right version), it won't work with other datapacks that also overwrite chest loot.

    Very simple request.

    I'd like a datapack that allows me to add one more item into generated chests, for example in villages, strongholds and mob spawners. Everywhere that a chest is generated, i want the possibility for it to add that item. Let's say that every chest has a 40% chance to contain said item.

    Try to remove the mod CrazyPants. See if that helps

    Let that villager get infected by a zombie, then cure it. It will lower it's prices. Keep doing this untill you only have to pay 1 emerald and a book for it. Profit!
