One suggestion for a feature I have is to have the option to generate a map off of a height-map image.
Which would obviously let people create landscapes modeled after real places, or fantasy ones, in much less time.
Also, I cant seem to create a map larger than 36x37, runs out of memory.
That's pretty huge, 4608x4736, but still... Just wanted to mention it.
DL the patcher that is in the thread liked to in the OP, it's a .jar file, so just doubleclick to run it.
You need to do this to a un-patched MC install.
After that, you just drop the file into the minecraft.jar and it should work, it did for me.
I've tried requesting in several request threads, but it seems every last one of those is dead by the 2nd page and I never get a response...
Anyways, I'm looking for a skin based on my avatar. Sadly, there is no larger or more complete image than that, that's even the full size so far as I know.
As you can see, It's a felinoid man wearing some kind of darkly colored outfit, perhaps leather, perhaps a ranger-type-thing, obviously military in design.
I'd prefer it to not have a tail visible, as that always looks a little silly imo.
If anyone is willing to give it a go, that'd really be awesome!
The new version of your plugin does not generate the same terrain as 1.2 with the same seed. Is this expected behavior? That problem is the only thing holding my server back from upgrading to 1.3 server.
This problem will always happen when changes are made to the terrain code, I have a post on page 46 sort of explaining why.
Indeed, whenever Notch makes any change to the terrain generation code, old seeds will produce different (though usually similar) landscapes than they did before.
Thus, the 1.3 update causes seeds to change their output worlds. I'm pretty sure it's totally unavoidable, even if Notch wanted to avoid it, because of the technicalities of procedural generation.
I don't have a full image, don't think there is one... but basically the rest of the body would be covered by the outfit that you can see he's wearing.
And if you can make it appear to have a sword at his side, that'd be awesome.
The creature would have a tail, but it wouldn't be fully exposed.
You should do a giant tree, which got from 50 to 100 of tall and 10 of long/wide. It got a lot of branches and leaves in all branches and head from the block 50. If you can do this i will give you a , but for now you got a and a

On windows, at least.
This tool is amazing... I'm going to be making some great stuff with this, eventually.

My artistry ends at architecture, I'm afraid.

Ditto. Tried several versions, cant find one that works, needs some TLC.

IE: Unusable, and by extension, all mods that require it.
Seems like a problem.

From water to the top of the sky is 64 blocks.

Doesn't look too much like any one thing, but rather a combination of things, which is the whole point.
