There are certain people who enjoy annoying others, it's also an "easy" thing to do. If building spaceships annoyed others it would happen less often because it requires so much effort. Also, quite a lot of "griefing" I've seen isn't actually griefing, I'd say there's like, 90% less in minecraft than is made out.

The only griefing I really see is the random deleting of blocks throughout the map, especially within people's work. I'm not sure exactly what 90% you are talking about.

One of the servers I op'd on was literally torn to shreds. Massive tracts of land missing, huge buildings GONE. Visit the 4chan server for an idea of what I'm talking about.

I have tantos, wazikazawhatever you call thems, and a few more.

And yes, I count Phillipenes (sp?) as a part of Asia.

Wakizashi. Also, I don't own an entire matching set yet. I should get on that.

I forgot to mention that I actually play piano, as well as some banjo/guitar, a didgeridoo, and drums. I'm best at piano and drums; probably a percussion thing.

    I wouldn't mind going on there o.o!
i lack a home server since desk_rabbit's seems to have dissapeared.

    Name: Jack
    Minecraft user name: Malcovent
Servers your have run: 1 Eden server was private; went public; server is down at the moment, have op'ed 2 or so others including Desk_rabbits
Approximate number of in-game hours as OP: Id say between 75-100 but it could possibly feel less, OP'ing at 5 in the morning makes everything seem a tad longer.
Reference: I would hope, knitewulf (i can also back him up as a good op) mainly, i could list others but it isnt needed.

Yar, Jack be a good Op and a good pirate

    Age: 18

About me: Going to college (university for you Europeans) in a few weeks. I'm currently growing a handlebar mustache, but it'll take a while. I'm a PC gamer first and foremost; my console collection consists of a Playstation, Sega Genesis, and Dreamcast. My handheld collection consists of two Game Boy originals (one in grey one in red(rare)), a Game Boy Pocket, Game Boy Light(super rare) and a Game Boy Advance (original).

I built my own PC two years ago and I'm trying to get money together to do a motherboard, RAM, and video card(s) upgrade. When I'm not on my PC, I'm in or around my car, a 1984 Alfa Romeo Spider. I like most genres of music, but I have a soft spot for classical, especially piano and harpsichord arrangements.

I own and know how to use 6 swords, including one sword cane bearing a wolf's head (go figure), and an assortment of knives. I have three Nerf guns, all of which I'm incredibly lethal with, and a .177 rifle. I'm your go-to guy for the zombie apocalypse, as I'm extensively trained in Kung Fu (true) and I'm a proficient marksman (also true). I'm also an ace driver, so I'll be weaving in and out of the zombie traffic.

    Might as well.

Me and my girlfriend, plus my best friend creeping in the background.

This was after my graduation ceremony, hence the cap.

This was from a week or so ago. Haircut and I'm rocking the chops. I also don't drink, so I never touched that Morgan.

Could I conceivably be added? I never ran my own server because I was too lazy to figure out map editor. I'm a fairly decent OP; people don't complain about me. I'm on fairly often.

    Name: Victor
    MC User Name: KniteWulf (premium)

    # of hours performing OP duties: 72+

    Currently am/been OP on:

    Venn177's server
The Eden Server (run by Malcovent)
    One of AlexVMiner's servers
    Desk_Rabbit's server
    Visiiri's Loooong Moderated Build

Also, I'm pretty sure Venn's server went private and stayed that way. Does anyone have the server address?

    Derp, forgot some info

I find it hilarious that all the griefers are building the swastikas not related to the Nazis. They are, in effect, promoting peace through their own ignorance. The only reason people get offended is because they don't know the truth about the swastika, and which swastika would be correctly viewed as offensive.

Now don't ban me for this, or delete my post, I'm just trying to educate.

    This is a Nazi swastika:

This is the swastika that dates back thousands of years and implies peace or good luck:

That second image is a Buddhist temple in Korea.

Just read the Wiki article on swastikas

Multiplayer. And no flooding, water is at a level not accessible to non-OP's. Even when no one is on the server it happens.

There's something called a MAC address which would be much simpler to ban than what you're suggesting.

posted a message on Massive Chunk Updates
Did a rudimentary search and didn't find anything.

Occasionally, I will get random and massive chunk updates, even while standing still and nothing is being built. I haven't heard of other people having this problem. Generally the chunk updates number in the four to five hundred region, sometimes dipping to 300 something. It's incredibly intermittent and even more incredibly annoying when it happens.

    Ideas?
