Hi, I'm Knightfox from Clan Amadas this server utilizes the Rifts mod
How this works is:
-When you start you pick between the Light and the Dark side
-Next you pick 1 of 5 classes, Archer, Fighter, Defender, Priest, and Mage
-After that you will spawn in the corresponding world, level up by gaining xp from breaking blocks, killing mobs, or killing each other
Server Features:
With this mod we have:
-2 sides light and dark
-5 classes with skills
-2 worlds with portals between
-a nether which works as the high exp PVP area
How Classes work:
Basically you get some small restrictions and skills.
The restrictions are limited to armor and weapons
Ex: defenders are the only class that can use diamond armor but can only use up to iron swords and no bows. Also Archers can only use up to leather armor stone swords but the can use bows.
The skills are actually really cool (archers OP), archers have a skill that allows them to shoot a fire arrow that can light people and objects on fire and then later a TNT arrow. Each skill requires mana and many require a special item, such as archers require bows, mages have to be holding a book, etc

I wanna state the fact that even though there is a dedicated PVP area either side may enter the other sides world and lie, steal, grief and kill the opposite side in their own world.

A little extra information about our Modcraft server since it isn't already posted. We currently use the Rifts mod which sets up two sides, the Light and the Dark. Within that there are several classes, Archer Mage, Priest, Fighter and Defender. Each class gains skills and stats as they level. You can easily level by mining, killing mobs, or killing other players
We also have a functioning nether system and randomly spawning rift portals. The nether functions as the overall PVP area, though both sides may be directly raided, and rift portals teleport the player between the light and dark worlds.
I want to make it very clear that the modcraft server is an anarchy server. Griefing, killing, stealing are all fair game as long as they are within reasonable limits, rude, cruel, malicious behaviors and other such things may be punished by a temporary ban or kick.
On my clans modcraft server we have a class system set up on an anarchy server, the concept is pretty neat, you gain exp by destroying blocks or killing mobs or other players. Also the two sides are separated by the nether. With this each side is able to build up, mining is encouraged with the XP system, and team work is crucial for fihts since everyone can only fulfill so much of any role
