I guess you want to make a data pack that places an armor stand in the space you placed the "block" at, so that it escapes the 22.5° limitation of the placed head blocks, or even imitate that behavior?
Anyway, what you're trying to do is not going to work without any prior knowledge in modding, data packs, or the limitations of Minecraft itself.
I don't even know if the printer is going to do anything, if it does, only modding will be able to help you with that.
If you discard the idea of it facing you when placing it, you could just as well place it in an item frame; no data pack shenanigans, no modding the game.
How about you off-set the pixels to as much as the texture seems to be broken?
To me, it seems like you need to put the left most column 2 pixels up, and then cut the overflowing pixels at the top off and put them at the bottom of the column.

So is it a block placed inside the world, or an entity that should look like a block?

There's something very wrong with our code, but I will tell you to use JSONLint instead, a link to it can be found here.

Oh, why didn't you say Optifine first?
Like, it's a flare you can set for the thread itself. (same with the version)
Also, please refrain from commenting on older threads, you should create one yourself instead, in which you can reference this thread for context.
I recommend you to read this guide first.

The override says the model is at assets/minecraft/models/custom/sickle.json, is it there or not?
Also, please copy the entire code into a spoiler, as referred to in this guide.

The solution was to use the correct file.

Well, why not help yourself to elaborate further on this matter?
This is a help forum, not a request for personal help forum.
I recommend structuring the post using this.

This is a problem with the betacraft modification, so the whole resource pack format doesn't even exist.

I propose to read this post.
Also, those screenshots need permissions to be viewed in the first place, they're not free to view by anyone.

The music is attached to the item, whereas a resource pack merely changes the appearance of that item, but not its functionality.
You will have to replace the existing music with your custom music.
