When I finally get tired enough and just crash, I either fall asleep instantly or can't fall asleep for hours. I always seem to not be able to sleep when I have to get up early, though.
Why would I deny it? I don’t care if they preserve it, I care that they make useless threads. And now this thread has gone on for eight pages.
In what way is this thread useless? If you simply say "Because classic isn't good", then your logic is flawed, since I could just say a thread about anything I don't like is useless.
Oh, so, after the last time I played it, it got updated? Lemme check!
You can't completely decide on how good a game is on the first play. You might get a first impression, but those can easily change. There's many games that I didn't like when I started playing that I love now.
I don’t speak French (or whatever that language is). And by “Terraria doesn’t have a complaining community” I mean that there aren’t stupid threads about new version sucks and old one is better, like this one.Okay.
Non sequitur is a loanword from Latin that means "It does not follow". Basically, I was saying that the statement has nothing to do with the conversation at hand. Whether or not the Terraria community has bad threads has no direct correlation to saving Classic.
Okay. Well, then let’s see…Classic is supposed to be a Freebuild mode, so let’s see…
Can’t fly
Has bugs
Is in browser (so I have to downgrade my Java if I wanna play it and I can’t make it fullscreen and I need Internet connection)
Limited blocks
Can’t see very well through darkness
Limited map size
Can’t place on “bedrock”
Can’t place water or lava
There’s probably more, but those should be good.
Listing issues with the game doesn't show how it affects you, considering you don't play it. There's no valid reason for simply the existence of Classic harming you in any way.
There’s probably more, but those should be good.My reasoning isn’t “Because I hate it!!”? Oh, and with that argument, these people who sign because they “like Classic!!!” shouldn’t sign/post because they don’t have a valid point, that’s at least according to your logic.
Then what is your reasoning? And your counter-logic doesn't work, considering people who like it would be affected, since they wouldn't be able to play anymore. However, people who don't like it wouldn't be affected, since they would just continue to not play it.
But, wait, wait, wait…Nobody’s talking about continuing Classic. We’re talking about saving Classic. But, that gives me an idea…make Classic better!!!
Add fly mode
Fix the bugs
Make a client-side version
Add more blocks (maybe some blocks exclusive to Classic!)
Add “brightness” function
Increase map size (or for better, make it infinite actually, Java limitations can’t make the Minecraft world infinite. So make the map 32000000*32000000)
Cubic chunks
Ability to place on “bedrock”
Ability to place water and lava
With all that, I’m pretty sure Classic won’t be a pile of old version junk in the corner anymore.
See, this is a good (part of a) post! This contributes to the thread, since rather than complaining about something that doesn't affect you, you say that it should be made better, so that it isn't complaint-worthy.
Anyway, I don't play Classic, or Minecraft at all for that matter, so this isn't really a vey entertaining discussion for me. For the sake of myself and keeping this thread (relatively) argument-free, I won't respond unless I see anything extremely worth debating. So, until next time.
does infractions infect your chances of becoming a moderator?
Infractions do not affect your chances of becoming a moderator, unless they're major infractions or you repeatedly receive them for similar reasons.
EDIT: Rewording because this was poorly worded and can easily be misinterpreted wrong. Infractions can affect your chances (They don't necessarily have to, but they definitely can), and major and repeated infractions can influence your chances more.
No, I just hate Classic itself, and it is NOT the base of today’s Minecraft. The base of today’s Minecraft (release 1.6.2) is snapshot 1.6.2. And if you just wanna “preserve history”, then get the Classic .JAR if you really want it so much. And if you wanna “preserve history” so much, then why don’t you keep Windows 1.0? Or the very first quark in the universe? I know you are crazy about preserving history.
But other people like it, so what does it matter to you if they wish to preserve it? It doesn't have anything to do with you, you just want something to argue about and get some free posts. You can't deny this because you said it yourself.
Well, that’s what you think. Think what you think, I can’t control it. But my purpose is not to be “an ignorant troll”, as a matter of fact. I never said this was not affecting my 11 year old life. I think you use the “ignorant troll” just so I would stop posting. But I’m here for the free posts, and I’ll stop posting if this thread gets locked!
So, rather than posting to contribute, you're posting just to add to your post count. I don't dislike people based on age, but I don't really like immaturity like that.
You still have not said how Classic affects you, which it should in order to make you want it to be removed.
You're the one making the negative posts, so I don't see how you could agree with him.
EDIT: My opinion on this thread overall is that anyone who has anything positive to say or a legitimate reason to argue against saving it have valid reasons. If your reasoning is just "Because I hate it!!!!" then you shouldn't post, because it contributes nothing and has nothing to do with why Classic shouldn't be continued.
I never understood why they made a show about him. I don't watch much of Seth MacFarlane's animated shows, but I have to say, out of the three, I probably like The Cleveland Show the least.
Is there an age requirement (Doesn't have to be official, but say like a 15 year old, is that like a definite no? Or a 10 year old, 25 year old, etc) for applying?
There is no age requirement for a moderator, and whether you are denied or accepted is not affected by age in any way. I believe there's been some moderators as young as twelve.
The fight against final form of the Shadow Queen in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door is one of the best songs I've ever heard in a video game. It's just epic.

The point was that that was a fake image. I think we both know that.

Rules can be found here, and I do highly suggest reading them, even before you start posting things.

Nope, you didn't. Rather, you used Inspect Element/Firebug to edit the text on the page.
But other people like it, so what does it matter to you if they wish to preserve it? It doesn't have anything to do with you, you just want something to argue about and get some free posts. You can't deny this because you said it yourself.
So you can stop arguing that Classic should be removed even though it affects you in no way whatsoever? That's the only issue I see in this thread.
So you're saying you hate it, but you've only played it once. I don't think one play is enough to draw a conclusion about a game.
Non sequitur.

I'm pretty sure they'd stock up on all sorts of weaponry if they knew anything would be legal that day.
