in the herobrine crreypy pasta he dosent have body parts thet move, he just floats towards you...

it would be awsome if you added that (englis is not my first language)

That's the effect I was trying to achieve, but unfortunately the mod isn't close to being perfected yet. In time, perhaps I'll throw out the default Minecraft AI altogether in Herobrine's programming, so that I can make a more floaty and creepy Herobrine.
    Quote from Jibley

When I use the mod, MineCraft plays normally. Then about 10 minutes after entering the world, the game gets all laggy and freezes.

Could you give me a crash report (instructions on the front page)?

So your still working on this right? I hope you update this for forge compatibility. :Frame:
[ this looks like butter --> :GoldBar: ]

oh also, can you please do the forge update for your mod now? because i do not really like the idea of delaying the update until 1.5 .
(i did not get what you were saying on your last comment..)

No worries, I'm trying to get the forge update out as soon as possible still. I was just commenting on the fact that it's taking long to do, so it could possibly take until the 1.5 update, worst case scenario.

People who want to get rid of random crashing: Re-download the mod, I've updated it to be more stable.

Uh, why don't you wait for 1.5 to come out, then update it to forge, it would be easier and it also get a lot more problems out in the way, since modloader WILL take some time to update, but forge(what, 3 hours?)

Well most of the progress made on forge before 1.5 comes out would probably translate into progress into the 1.5 version. Then when 1.5 comes out it I'll make some tweaks as necessary. Of course, that's assuming that progress isn't so slow that the forge version is delayed until after 1.5 anyway.

Also, those of you having problems with crashing, that is my fault. I will come out with a non-crashing version tomorrow.

also, when will you make this compatible with forge?

As soon as I get the time. More progress will be made in the upcoming week. This week was especially busy, so I had to put the forge update on the back-burner.

This is most definitely the best herobrine mod I've seen.

I've tried it out and there were some bugs i noticed:

    1. The x key triggers whilst typing into chat
    2. Ghost entities. Whenever he spawns spiders there is one real one and one ghost one that doesn't move and can't be interacted with and when you defeat Herobrine, he sometimes drops blocks and xp that can't be picked up.
    3. Signs that Herobrine places sometimes dissapear when they receive a block update.

I followed the install instructions from the op but also for the lolz (Edit: and i saw it had no base edits. ) reinstalled it but instead of putting the classes into minecraft.jar i put the entire zip in the mods folder and it appears to be ok. Everything is there, Herobrine is running around as usual and minecraft hasn't shown any inclination to eat eat my face. So it would be good if you confirmed that it works and thought about installing it that way.

Overall It's a great mod I'm definitely going to use it.

    Thank you very much!

The x trigger bug is a new one. It should be an easy fix. Thanks for pointing that out.

Also, you may have single-handedly proven how much of a minecraft modding noob I am. I honestly have never tried installing the mod just by putting the zip file into the mods folder. However, I was intending to use that feature once the mod is converted to forge.

Kiterosmas help! (or anyone who can help) when i download the mod (or any other version of this mod) i cant get past the loading screen before it crashes :( can you help with this? i have forge but when it checks it says forge mod loader or do i need a different loader you said before but i might as well check)

This mod is not yet compatible with forge unfortunately. If you really want to run the mod you either need to get modloader or wait a little while until the forge version of this mod is out.

well, modloader people are dwindling a LOT, forge is almost everyone, while I know you use modloader, some people just can't wait for you to make a forge comptaible update, so, it happens..

    Quote from Bobombdom

Could you please try to make the forge compatible version soon?

I'm trying my best. This week I'll try and get it done. However, I have other programming to do for my classes as well as other projects and studies. But when the forge version is out, it will be glorious.

you did all this without editing ONE base class?
that's impressive, well, then maybe you could load your mod in forge, see the errors, and maybe make it a goes into mods folder kind of mod?

Yup, I'll see what I can do. But yeah, I literally have done nothing to base classes. If I had, this mod certainly wouldn't be much for compatibility, even with other modloader mods.

You wanna know why this isn't forge compatible?
how many base class edits did this mod edit, because if you made a lot of base class edits, you'll either have to make this forge mod, or you have to compatibilitize every base class so its the same with forge...

    0 base classes edited.

Is it possible to make the mod compatible with both modloader and forge? i know burners herobrine mod is compatible with both.

Well supposedly modloader mods are already supposed to be compatible with forge. I'm not completely sure why that's not true for this mod. But long story short I'm sure it's possible, I'm just not completely aware of the solution yet.

Yay! It's updated for 1.4.7! :D Your mod is one of my 2 favorites; the other being Too Many Items (haha). Although, I do have a bug for you (click links to see screenshot, descriptions of screenshot below screenshot link, you may use any screenshots I give you for the mod description, If you would like ^-^):

    https://www.dropbox....27_11.06.48.png

I opened up Too Many Items and saw "Herobrine Spawner", so I took it and placed a couple down. A few Herobrines spawned, all bowing their heads down. I tried to turn around to get a look at one of their faces, but all of the Herobrines turned in sync to the direction I was looking! I tried using attack mode with the Herobane on them, and it didn't work. I switched the item in my hotbar, and all the Herobrines were holding what I held! Even the Herobrines spinning around in the spawners! And although this does not affect the gameplay I just found it a little... off.

    https://www.dropbox....27_11.04.09.png

Another thing... I'm not sure if this is supposed to happen? When I had gotten near a "Possessed Herobrine Spider", and hit it, it attacked me and shot webs at me (like in your description). But something weird happened when I actually managed to kill it. Little baby spiders appeared at its death point! LOADS of them! If you look at my Mini-Map in the top-right corner, you can see red dots surrounding me; THOSE ARE THE SPIDERS!!! O.O They were all a one hit kill, but very fast. I was in Creative Mode so I didn't get to see how much damaged they caused. And if you also notice in the screenshot, the mini-spiders all have white eyes! If this wasn't implemented to be in the mod, you should keep it, I think it's cool :D .

Anyway, good luck with the development of the mod, I can't wait to see what's in store next! Diamonds to you, my friend! :Diamond: :Diamond: :Diamond:

Thanks for your support! And thank you for making such a detailed post, that way I can answer people's questions right away :)

Luckily, neither of those things are bugs:

As far as the "Herobrine Spawner" goes, I'm guessing this is a feature of Too Many Items that allows you to spawn mobs from other mods. Rest assured, the Herobrines that you saw there were actually programmed to do that. The real fun is when you encounter them in survival mode.

As for the spiders, the possessed spiders are supposed to hatch tiny spider babies. As you said, they're pretty much harmless, but they're just meant to be kinda creepy.

Ummm..... Sorry to the 100 or so people that downloaded the mod in the past 24 hours, because I actually released the incorrect version. The only difference in the version that I released yesterday was that there are about 20 Herobrines spawned at once. I updated the link to the correct version now. Sorry people D:
