I'm lonely! I'm tired of SSP but I can't find a server. I'm willing to play on any kind of server: I've been through the works with military, prison, job-based, and ordinary survival servers. I'm skilled in building, mining, farming, and redstonery. I can take orders and follow directions to get the job done. As long as I have a little farm to fill my stomach and a way to protect from griefers, I'm happy! :)

posted a message on Let's make a language!
Ever since I was little, I've made up new words for things that I soon forget. Does anybody else do this? Let's do it together! :D

    RULES:
SECTION I--CREATION How to change the language
    1. You are allowed to add in up to 10 new words per post, whether they are adjectives, verbs, etc.
    2. You are allowed to add in one word if you'd like to make it irregular (EG if you want to make it so in order to say somebody's name on a Tuesday, you need to put an "a" on the beginning)
    3. You are allowed to add in up to three new grammar rules per post.
    a. You may choose to add grammar rules OR new words, but not both.
    4. You are allowed to suggest a new rule that will be put up as the poll and voted on by other players.
    5. Keep this clean, please!
    6. You are allowed to add one irregularity to another's word/grammar rule per post.
    7. Multiple meanings for one word or words for one meaning are both allowed.

SECTION II--BASIC STRUCTURE How this works on a fundamental scale
    1. Your words must be comprised of Latin characters.
    a. Letters with accents and the like are allowed.
    2. Using bold, italicized, or underlined text for all or part of a word to change its meaning is completely allowed.
    3. Assume an American English pronunciation unless otherwise noted.
    a. If you want to inform us that there is another pronunciation, include the lexicon spelling.

SECTION III-- GENERAL RULES Even I make mistakes! Can you believe that? Read this section if you feel a rule is unfair, or a rule is needed.
    1. If you feel a rule to be unfair, put it in a complaint post. If you want to change it, add in your changes. If not, then don't: the second option will not be available. We'll put it in a poll with the options "Leave it", "Change it", and "Get rid of it". The resulting winner will be the course of action.
    2. If you feel a rule is needed, then put in a complaint post. Write the law in a quote to nobody and then submit it. A poll will be created with the options "Yes" or "No"; obviously meaning whether or not it should be implemented. The course of action will be the winner.
    a. Laws that are denied can no longer be submitted. You can try to add, remove, or change some parts to make the law more friendly to the public, but do not resubmit the law after it has failed.
    3. I'll do my best to keep on this, but I'm only one guy. If we can get enough people, we can build a website to make it more automatic!
    4. All polls will end after 15 days of being posted.
    a. If the result is a tie, all options which received fewer votes than the winners will be eliminated and a new poll will be made and last 10 days.
    5. If a word or grammar rule really makes things difficult, you can vote to eliminate it in the same way you would remove a rule you don't like. The same restrictions apply.

Once enough words and grammar rules have been made, feel free to speak in the language! Let's just have a fun time!

LERESY! Let's face it; Oreos are special for the brand name.

And biscotti with Oreo creme? That sounds delicious! How'd you find out about THAT amazing pairing?

Exactly. The creme is tastier, but nobody wants to buy a jar of creme. The cookies are the perfect vessel for the creme, and the creme is the perfect partner for the chocolate cookies.

Also, there are generic brands that make Oreos that taste 100% the same.

I already told you, the cookies without the creme are just basic chocolate cookies. Dime a dozen, the Creme is something unique and able to stand on it's own. From a buisness standpoint, I would be more likely to invest in the product that is new, but still has roots into something that sells (in this case, marshmallow fluff).

The Creme itself could be packaged and sold in jars much like Nutella or Marshmallow Fluff. It is different enough to sell well on it's own.

    I... I think I'm in love........

But the same could be said for those pesky COOKIES! We must figure out something the creme has the cookies don't...

Although I HIGHLY prefer the creme, by your argument I could say that by taking away the cookie, it's just regular creme!

    Practically any US pop song.

Get me out of this country of horrid music

I must admit that 90s US pop music was catchy! Nowadays it's just little girls and untalented bozos whining into microphones and letting some uncredited guy play guitar in the background. At least Justin Bieber TRIED to make it sound SORTA like music.

I'd have to say I really dislike that weird white goop that's at the corner of your mouth when you wake up. Really gross.
