    posted a message on [REQUEST] The Texture Pack Mod
    This mod would do several things:

    • Allow for high resolution texture packs (perhaps) [extremely low priority]
    • Allow "linked" texture packs; basically a .txt file containing a download url for the pack (could be distributed by modpacks, instead of including the texturepack) [High priority]
    • Synch git linked packs, packs that are created on github. It could get the MD5 of the latest commit, and if there has been another commit, download the changed/added files [Medium priority]
    • Create a cool browser to view these texturepacks in [low priority]
    PS: I'd like to follow the development of this, if possible. I want to learn modding, but I haven't even learned java yet so... yeah. Anyone have suggestions on how to learn it? I have some html and php knowledge.

    posted a message on [Mod Idea] NEO (Not Enough Ores)
    Mining is boring. Mods often add a lot of the same material, and there have been a couple mods made because of this. I, however, would like to revolutionize mining. No longer will the ores always look the same, yet this will not be exploitable. Additionally, who says metals have to be extracted from the ground? Why can't they be found elsewhere(ei. molten metals)?

    1) TooManyGoddamnOres capabilities (ores are automatically swapped)

    2) "ore chunks" - Nuggets for ores! 9 chunks = 1 ore.

    3) fused ores - ores made up of ore chunks. They drop chunks when mined. Maximum of 2 different ores. EXAMPLE: redstoneiron drops 4 redstone chunks, and 4 iron chunks. There is a 50% chance of dropping an additional iron/redstone chunk.

    4) nether ores - All ores would spawn in the nether.

    5) "ore registry" - basically a compatibility option for other mods to register their ores. #1 would be activated and "ore chunks" would be created.

    6) grinder/macerator/pulverizer - a machine that accepts RF, MJ, EU, etc. and can grind ores into dust.

    7) molten ores - extremely rare pools of liquid metals. They can be cooled into blocks (yes, I said blocks) by placing water on them. Additionally, they can be pumped into Tinkers Construct Smelteries as well as various tanks.

    8) ore pump - a pump that accepts RF, MJ, EU, etc. and can suck molten ores up.

    9) Gravel Ores - A feature of Tinkers Construct I happen to like, it generates small clusters of gravel_ore on the surface. You still need the appropriate tool level in your shovel, and it cannot be mined with a pickaxe

    10) Includes the most used ores by default:

    -Tin

    -Copper

    -Something radioactive

    -nickel

    -lead

    -silver

    -platinum

    -etc.

    Just wondering, did you know liteloader.com is flagged as 'Malicious' by McAfee? If you could fix that I would be very happy (can' t convince my parents this isn't going to give them a virus -.- )

    posted a message on Clickable Blocks Mod
    The idea I am suggesting would add another "attribute" to the blocks in the game. The attribute is "clickable". To enable clickable mode, craft the block with a button. This would create an absolutely normal block, but it will emit a redstone signal when punched or clicked. The purpose of this would be to hide bases more easily, without command blocks. However, I don't want someone to be able to walk up with a block display mod (such as WhatAmILookingAt) to just go "hey look a clickable block".

    how do you clear a computer inside the program and then set a delay for it to then print some more text?

    term.clear() --clear the screen
    sleep(1) --sleeps for 1 second
    term.setCursorPos(1, 1) --set the cursor to top left corner
    print("text") --print text on screen

    posted a message on Modular Powersuits Addons (MPSA) - Requires Modular Powersuits
    Suggestion: integrate computercraft!
    Install a wireless modem from CC in your powersuit, you can link it to a computer something like this:
    CODE ALERT
    ps = powersuit.wrap("PlayerName")

    just in case you don't know lua... that ^^^ makes ps the same as powersuit.wrap("PlayerName")
    so
    ps.getPower()
    would be
    powersuit.wrap("PlayerName").getPower()

    and you could do some stuff with that like:
    ps.getPower() --returns amount of power stored in suit
    ps.getUserHealth() --returns health
    ps.getUserHunger() --returns users hunger
    ps.getCoords() --returns coords x, y, z
    ps.getLightLevel() --returns light level of where suit is (like, if your in a cave or something)
    ps.getTemp() --returns temperature (For heat gen)

    and the computer could enable/disable your moduals
    ps.setModual("auto-feeder", true) --enable auto-feeder
    ps.setModual("Sprint_Assist", false) --disable sprint assist
    ps.setModual("Solar_Gen", true) --enable solar generator

    Additionally, you could install sensors in your suit, to sense nearby hazards
    ps.getMobs(radius) --returns number of nearby mobs within "radius"
    ps.getRad() --returns radiation level

    There are many, many more things you could come up with for this feature, I'm not going to, and probably couldn't, list them all.

    Please, do not create things (other than ideas, we love those) for CORE unless you are a member.

    Alright. If any of you want to make a banner (easily) I recommend GIMP, and use file>create>logo

    Not trying to be rude or anything but could you make the banner include the offical logo? http://www.atomicpin...-Logo-Final.png

    IMPORTANT NOTICE

    TS3 Server is online again

    Edited original post about this ;) I hope you like what I edited in.
    Also, It'd be great if you could tell me what font you used there... I could make the banner look much cooler.

    Also, I propose we have a banner for coremodding! It would greatly spread publicity (especially for me as I have 360 posts for people to look at it on).

    oh look... someone made a banner (me)

    ...So what you are saying is you want us to create a version of Applied Energistics?

    uhm... not exactly. Applied Energistics constantly drains my power. This was fine when I had IC2 solars, but IC2 is pretty much as unstable as it gets at the moment. My idea is that we have easily accessible multi-block storage, rather than compressing millions of items into one block.
    No more searching through countless chests for stuff you want (I personally have around 100 something double chests)

    Mod Idea: Modular Storage
    Basic Detail: Large Storage - Small Scrollable GUI
    Extreme Detail: StorehousesYou are able to build storehouses which are large, solid, multi-block structures. They are created out of storehouse planks, and can be accessed from any side (similar to RailCraft blast Furnaces Coke Ovens). The amount of blocks you can store in a storehouse depends on the tier of planks you use the size overall. There are 3 sizes of storehouses: 3x3x3, 4x4x4, and 5x5x5. 3x3x3 has no buffs whatsoever. 4x4x4 has a 5% buff on the number of slots (rounded up if needed). 5x5x5 has a 15% buff on the number of slots (rounded up if needed). The slots in a storehouse are color coded by what plank they come from. This allows you to have a storehouse with multiple planks installed.
    Storehouse Planks
    These special planks allow you to build storehouses. They come in four tiers, reinforced, advanced, deep storage, and shallow storage.
    -Basic planks are crafted as shown below:
    XPX
    PCP ==> 2 Basic Planks
    XPX
    X = blank
    P = Planks (jungle, birch, oak, etc.)
    Details:
    18 slots
    64 items per slot
    Orange Highlight
    -Reinforced planks are crafted as shown below:
    IPI
    PCP ==> 4 Reinforced Planks
    IPI
    D = Iron
    P = Planks (jungle, birch, oak, etc.)
    C = Chest
    Details:
    27 slots
    64 items per slot
    Blue Highlight
    -Deep storage planks are crafted as shown below:
    XWX
    WCW ==> 2 Deep Storage Planks
    XWX
    X = blank
    W = Wood (jungle, birch, oak, etc)
    Details:
    9 slots
    192 items per slot
    Green Highlight
    -Shallow Storage planks are crafted as shown below:
    XIX
    ICI ==> 2 Shallow Storage Planks
    XIX
    X = blank
    I = Item Frame
    C = Chest
    Details:
    36 slots
    32 items per slot
    Red Highlight

    Name: talking steve or somthing like that
    Basic description:using the mic makes steve move like he's talking when it hears sound
    Extreme detail:not much to put here just that this would be really useful for small movie and video makers to make things look more realistic without needing to go to animation software and we wouldnt need to bob our mice anymore lol
    Summary: to sum up make the player look like its talking when talking in the mic

    If this was to be made, I think it would work something like this:
    Mic detects sound => begins cycling skin textures
    You would have to have several files generated by the player themselves for the skin textures.
    It might not even be possible to force a skin to update while online. I wouldn't know.

    posted a message on Modular Powersuits Addons (MPSA) - Requires Modular Powersuits
    Suggestion: Phasing
    Requires Phase crystals installed in all parts of suit
    Phase crystal recipie
    4 enderpearls
    1 emerald
    While phasing you cannot interact with entities or blocks, however you cannot move through blocks either.
    ie: mobs/exposions/traps etc. cant hurt you, but you cant open chests or use crafting tables.
