I must say, I'd really enjoy seeing Citipati or Oviraptor, as a tamable dino. I was thinking perhaps any mobs killed by them could have a substantial upgrade in drops? Another option could be that they'd "steal" items from other mobs, getting drops but not killing the mob.

Actually, there's tons of insects that are aquatic. Not to mention there are also aquatic crustaceans and chelicerates, which are arthropods, as well.

As for there being no water, it seems a bit odd to me that a dimension would have no water. After all, water is an essential building block of life. I think maybe a marsh, or even a small underwater sea, biome would definitely add some depth to this place.
I have to admit, I didn't know about Aquatic bugs, thanks for telling me this. And you have a point Dede, why isn't there a lot of water? How do the plants down there survive without some form of water source? They need to add some sort of swamp/lake biome to compensate.
And why are there trees that look like their missing a texture? I'm talking about the Eucalyptus Tree (did I spell that correctly?) it's so white, even the leaves are white, it sticks out of the crowd of trees like a sore thumb. So maybe make it look more detailed. -

Sorry to annoy you with ideas once again, but are you planning any aquatic mobs? I was thinking some sea spiders (perhaps a tamable?) and water boatmen for passives, and toebiters (perhaps a mini-boss?) and great water beetles for baddies. Not sure if they'd be passive or hostile, but water striders may be interesting as well, if you could get them to skate across the water surface.
Of course, you are the creator of the mod, and it's totally up to you whether or not to add any concepts we, as the fans, suggest. I just would love to see something to "brighten up" the Erebus's waters, that's all.
Don't worry about annoying us. Ideas help us make Erebus into something that everyone enjoyes.
The main problem with your idea is that as far as I know, the Erebus doesn't have any waters.

Anyway, I love the new Reptiles and the Parachutes and Armadillos.
However, I'm not finished. It's kind of impossible for me to go by a mod without making some suggestions. You don't have to take these suggestions seriously, it's just something for you to fall back on in case you run out of ideas.

EDIT: also, you should really add Firehazurd's Frilled Lizard, it's far better than any of my ideas. :wink.gif:

Also, there are some large pterosaurs.The largest being Hatzegopteryx. No, it couldn't be ridden in real life, but Minecraft is a fantasy world, so as long as they are scientifically accurate about features such as fur and walking movement I'm fine with riding.

Butterfly
Passive mobs. They spawn near flowers in full daylight. When you get close they fly away at about 0.5 the player's speed. If they are caught and killed (they have 10 hearts) they will drop Radiant Scales. These can be used to make armor that your Spider minions can wear. It is stronger than Leather but not quite as strong as Iron.
Moth
Passive mobs that spawn in moonlight. They are similar to butterflies, but more insectoid in appearance in contrast to the butterfly, and are a dull purple-grey color. When approached, they fly away at 2.0 the speed of the player. However, they are attracted to torches or other light sources. If you can actually kill one they will give you Vile Scales that can be used to create armor that your Spdiers can wear. It is stronger than Iron but not quite as strong as Diamond.
I'd appreciate a reply, although if a reply is too much to ask for (I don't blame you, I am annoying) I'll just wish y'all good luck on this

What I'd really like to see is XP and Nicknames, maybe the ability to see the health of your Poke'mob when he is out, and possibly even moves (examples below). Another thing I'd like is Mineable Rare Stones, but that would need evolution. :/

I didn't think you'd add Moves or Evolutions. And I don't really want you to add Evolutions. Possibly Moves, probably not Evolutions, but I'd like XP and Levels. They'd go up a heart in health every 5 lvls and also a half a heart in attack damage.

Yeah, that is kind of what I meant.
Another easier way this could work is that everything is too small to see, you collect the DNA and stuff all like this, but then you place it into the Microscope/Macroscope. These have no real effect on Gameplay at first, but if a Microscope/Macroscope is clicked, it will bring you to the 2D microscopic world, this works kind of liek the Sims. You watch you creatures, and place them for the price of Generic DNA (Generic DNA will be explained soon), they slowly grow, they can either evolve by themselves or you can help them. Macroscopes, Petri Dish and Generic DNA explained below.
Macroscope: it is the same as a Microscope, but is made with Gold and works at a much larger scale. The creatures it looks at are still to small for the player to see, but they are WAY bigger than Microscopic Creatures. They can also resemble, even look identical to Creatures in the main world.

Allows you to collect Dirt or Water, can be used on a Microscope or Macroscope. If a Creature is placed with no water or soil, it will die. Giving 45% of the DNA that was used to create it back (Generic only). But is a Microbe is placed in water, it will begin to swim around, and eat the Algae (or other Cells if you have already placed some Cells) that grow there as soon as Water is in. Every Day and Night they evolve, grabbing more complex parts and such. Every minute they split into 2 more Microbes. By right clicking on the Microscope/Macroscope it will eject the Petri Dish.
Primordial Ooze:
a Petri Dish filled with water. It is pretty much explained above.
Soil:
a Petri Dish filled with Dirt. It can house Macrobes, creatures created when Microbes evolve or when a DNA Modifier is used. Macrobes work much like Microbes, but they only reproduce every 20 minutes (24 hours in Minecraft time), they lay 1-3 eggs that hatch in 15 minutes or so. If they don't get eaten by Carnivores.
Creature Extractor:

allows you to extract a single Microbe/Macrobe. Just pull it out of the tab at the bottom, with all your Spore-related items, and click on a Creature. The name of the Creature Extractor will then be changed to the Creature, you can then place it in another Petri Dish somewhere else.
Generic DNA:
A little Generic DNA is extracted whenever you use the DNA Extractor on a Mob. It is not actually an item. It only appears when you are at the Microscope or Macroscope screen. It is at the bottom of the page. The tab not only has your Spore-related items, but the Creatrues you have already created. You can place more of these, but it costs a bit of Genric DNA. 15 Genric DNA is got from a Passive Mob each time, 30 from Neutral, 50 from Aggressive, 10 from Skeletons and Plant matter.
How is this of use to the player?:
Eventually you'll get the Creatures to secrete stuff like Healing Powder, Glowstone Dust and even Sulphur! It is mostly just for fun though.
I like your idea WAY more though, this is just a less complex version. I suggest you keep to the original idea.
Also, new part idea:
Sponge-like Fiber: is got 90% of the time from Sponges, 10% from the logs and 40% of the time from Water. It allows it to suck up water if it can't swim. It can only suck up 3X3 at level 1. The item icon looks like this:
Also, I might be able to make a banner, I am pretty bad but if I put enough work into it it might be good. I plan to have some of the part ideas on it, any ideas?
