    What about the villagers? Prolly a pain in the ass to do but the different kinds of villagers(butcher vs priest) will use mechs differently
    Likely do the same with the endermen zombies and creepers( and pissed off villigers provided you blow up the village / hurt them)

    Its not the mine that kills you... usually.. its the fall to lava thereby overheating your mech that cant escape and you cant jump out of for fear of burning to death, tho your mech will most likely explode from overheating... And I dont know Iv hit about ten landmines in a row in mech warrior 3 in a puma... after that I got off the ridge and promptly never went up there again, I think its like the fifth mission or something right before you go underground to kill the annihilator... that ridge where the pumas and awesome spawn across the river

    When I said the engine from flans I meant the way you control the airplanes I never meant for you to use his fuil based engines from the planes

    but on the topic of engine engines I know industrial craft has your favorite electricity creating fusion/nuke reactors, Perhaps making use of how he set them up for customized energy output and cooling?
    Or like I said maybe make it compatible later once things have been hammered out...

    And yea I to love the idea of quad mechs being mostly for low end construction and agricultural work
    That said Im going to be that one ba###rd thats going to make minefields for remote detonation with my miner

    If you use bits of both flans mods and Industrial craft it might make it easier to make crafting recipes due to Industrial crafts extra ores and machinery and flans vehicle engine ( Im the guy who was helping Stygander) Or maybe make it compatible later, just a couple ideas, and to your mining mech issue, why not do a small scale 3x3x3 quad mining mech, I reason its reasonably cannon due to them having quad mechs, and the fact quad mechs perform well in unstable terrain like mine shafts
