Also just like the JurassiCraft thread, all animal suggestions are banned. EcoCraft's thread aren't going to be governed any differently than JurassiCraft.

Well, all the suggestions from when you guys suggested AI stuff has been noted down in a document and stored. We just don't take any mob suggestions and we kinda treated hybrid suggestions as such :( sorry.

Am I the only one here who uses dinosaurs not as park attractions, but rather as livestock, source of transportation and hunting weapons?

Nope and you'll fit right into our planned admin faction lol, Herrerasaurus grinder for days :P

I see that proper genetic engineering is a big suggestion as are decorative skeletons etc. Yeah full genetic mapping is planned, but on top of that you need to actually catalogue each animal and understand its behavior, doing so and researching more unlocks more modification. That's a little peek into one part of the making of dino process

Baby Wooly Mammoths (along with other close relatives) have to consume Elephant, Mammoth, or Mastodon feces otherwise they get sick when they eat, which could lead to death. This is because they need to receive vital gut bacteria to properly digest food, which they are not born with and thus must digest their parents feces. This could also apply to many other species.

wait do baby elephants do that as well?

We should've specified beforehand, when we ask what you as fans would like to see in the mod, we do not at all want animal suggestions. Most of you remember my big bold colored request to stop all mob suggestions. We're not illiterates who can't look up dinosaurs or follow the latest in paleontology, it's annoying and unhelpful when people ask for more animals, they take time to model, animate, and simply just code by looking at our models it should be clear how much effort it takes to make them.

Actually I'm going to repost this post:

Guys please stop asking us if we'll add this dino, or that reptile, or any animal for that matter

We already have a set list for JurassiCraft 2 that we'll be adding, any more mobs and it will be too much for our animators

We would greatly appreciate it if you gave us actual ideas on how to overhaul our fossil finding system, suggesting new and realistic cloning methods, possible animations, dna extraction, taming and player-dinosaur relationship, and realistic ai.

We do really appreciate the enthusiasm that you as fans have shown us, and the fact that so many people play the mod and enjoy it partly drives our ambition to keep improving the mod to become the number 1 dinosaur mod if not the number 1 Minecraft mod

Again please direct your enthusiasm to give us new ideas on the mechanics behind the dinosaurs of the mod.

    -JC Team
This isn't meant for those of you who have been giving brilliant suggestions about the mechanics and whatever isn't asking for this animal or that animal :) .

The size of the indominus in game is fully grown. The indominus in the movie is not fully grown, I calculated the max height using simple ratios which got me around 8m in height. Of course when I used P = Ce^(kt) I got around 10m, we simply decided that 8m was a far better number otherwise the indominus would be wayyyyy too fricking large.

    1. Stop screaming no realism, the way the animals look will be entirely based on jurassic park, the behavior, genetics, cloning, development, aging and will be as a realistic as possible. If an animal wasn't in JP, it'll be largely realistic

    2. Yeah I resigned, but I still give tips and hits and talk about the mod with Reuxterz and lieutenant Ghost so I know what's going on.

    3. There was never any sort of statement that even remotely indicated that jurassicraft 2 was cancelled quit jumping to conclusions.

    4. Blitzskype either you're not very good at making observations, the stegoceratops is literally a stegosaur model with the triceratops head stuck onto it, you can simply copy and paste parts onto different models in tabula.

If you guys haven't noticed we have been making more and more realistic with the models. I believe a couple of our models are very very feathered, and there's nothing wrong with realistic ai. Also with Dr. Wu's quote, the frontier for this mod has opened up to the fullest, but don't expect any big signs in the coming future, you'll probably start seeing hints maybe on jc4 :P

He probably just took the Stego model and make the head look like Triceratops and it probably didn't take an hour to make the Tricaratops head.

That's exactly what he did. Making a model for the JW hybrids is easy. you copy and paste parts onto different models.
