LOVE this idea. While I agree that this is exactly how Survival should have been from the start, at the same time this mod reinforces my idea/opinion that Survival should be played in small teams/groups. I played a few hours (on SSP, of course), and after digging many thousands of blocks, was finding myself incredibly discouraged after finding only Native Gold, even with using Stone Prospector's Picks. I'm not saying the mod needs to be rebalanced or anything, it is done wonderfull. It's just that for me, the fun will begin when this is ported to SMP. No worries, rushing, complaining from me though. I understand that you want to make the "core" of the mod a polished as you can, and I find it admirable that you're taking the time to do so instead of rushing into SMP to appease the general populace.

SMP: One of the first with a server up, probably 6-8 players, 24/7

Skype is being buggy at the moment. Won't let me sign up. I've got a 20-person Vent we can use. I'll PM the info. This goes for other people who would like to set up multiplayer games.

Hmmm, I think it would be a great idea to keep a thread around for people to post in if they're looking for other peeps to play these maps with. All the time when I'm playing these, especially the Survival ones, I keep thinking "This would be ******* awesome with more people, make some epic stuff from nothing."

Ok.

First thing. I love this idea. Not so much for the overall objective, because that's why it's called Survival Single or Multi Player. The reason I like this because of the structure you put into it. I'm actually contemplating having a server run this type of gameplay for my clan and see what kind of "damage" my teammates would be able to do.

Second thing. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for listing the mods you are using. I had no idea there were things like this out in the community. These are REALLY going to spice up my maps, both SSP and SMP.

I like this idea/map so much, that I'm making another server with this map for 2-4 people. Will be interesting to see how it works out.
