    Someone recently told me that you may not be visiting your old thread, so I'm re posting my recent post from there to here.

    Hey there.

    So I've been playing with Growthcraft on a server. One thing about it that really made me happy - apples fall from the trees when they are ripe. Now why does this make me happy? It's because my gathering golem from Thaumcraft can grab them and store them away. It would be nice if there was a way you could make the fruit trees drop their fruits when ripe. I ask this only because I tend to forget to harvest them amongst all the other mods I'm playing with on a server. So if you can add that, it's be nice. If not, then that's fine. Not gonna make stop playing with this mod or anything. :)

    Also, I tested and can confirm that golems will harvest your fruit trees.... but they actually break the fruit as a whole so that it can't grow back. They also don't seem to instantly recognize the mature fruit as harvestable. Might just be golems being sluggish and derpy (it amuses me from time to time heh).

    And one more thing - and feel free to say no, but there are four crops that have to be turned into seeds before they can be planted again. Might be more, I haven't tested the bamboo shoot, but anyway, the four I'm talking about are Seaweed, Rice, Cranberry and White Mushroom. I remember when all the crops had to be planed by seed. Nothing wrong with that and it makes sense. The thing is that golems can't replant if the harvested crops have to be turned into seeds first. I've been manually harvesting and planting all crops up to this point, but yesterday, I felt that some form of automation needs to happen. So if you can make it so that all crops can be replanted whether by seed or harvested crop, that'd be awesome. Or maybe how vanilla Minecraft handles wheat, making it drop wheat and seeds to replant when harvested.

    Again, these are just suggestions I've had for a while now. Take them or leave them, I'll still be using this mod cause FOOOOOOOOOOOD VARIETY!!! \o/

    To Dweller_Benthos (since Reply failed hard):
    I finally found John Smith's font and swapped it out. Now I can enjoy the nice colors and textures of the pack and read my book without swapping packs. ^^

    There was one other thing I came across by pure chance tho. We finally got the latest Thaumcraft. It has an item called the Sanity Checker. It displays a rough estimate of your sanity via meter in the top left corner of your screen. Unfortunately, this meter seems to be only seen while using Vanilla textures or Faithful. The modded version of John Smith doesn't display it at all. I do not know what other texture packs can show the sanity meter. I've only tried this with Faithful and John Smith.

    Hi there.

    So, I came across and infusion recipe that doesn't seem to work. I double checked the book again and again. Now then before I get many, many people jumping down my throat, I DID read the OP. "Report all bugs to github." Thing is, I don't have a github account and I honestly don't plan to get one as I rarely, almost never, use that place. However, I really feel this bug should be known. If you want to know what recipe it was, I could message you the problem or just post it here. Again, I read the OP but I just don't care to make an account for a site I rarely use. Then again, you can also turn around and say, "Well then, I don't care to read about the issue because you refuse to follow my format." Fair enough. It's up to you tho.

    Welp... I just got scared absolutely sh**less. Here's the scene:

    I walk back into my house. I walk pass my Infernal Furnace and Brain-in-a-Jar. My main storage chests are across from there. Suddenly, my heart starts racing. I think, "Another minor symptom of Warp. Nothing to be worried about." Then, I notice the chat says: "What was that noise? Something is behind you."

    My blood runs cold and my first instinct is to start flying, to put as much distance between my would-be attacker before I unleash my foci of Nine Hells upon it. But... my ceiling is only 5 block high. I can't fly away. Scared s***less to turn around, I stay motionless in the air. After a moment, I hit F5..... nothing was there. Nothing was behind me. Still scared, I land, run outside and fly to a nearby tree. Then I wait. I watch my minimap carefully. Waiting for a red "?" square to appear in my house.... it never happens.

    Please tell me that's just an added chat message for the very minor Warp effects. For the record, I haven't gone fully insane yet. There are quite a few Forbidden researches I have not touched yet and for good reason. My friend that lives nearby gets a healthy, or rather, unhealthy dose of Eldritch Guardians there. Now don't get me wrong - I can take on a few guardians and wreck their world. But the server we play on has Infernal Mobs installed. How would you like a dose of this (the buff blocked by my mana bar is Poisonous):

    Hey there. I love the texture pack. The colors are easy on my eyes. But uh, the font is lil too fine for me. It gets very sketchy when viewing in-game books such as the Thaumonomicom (Thaumcraft). Same for the Lexica Botania (Botania) and the tinker's books from Tinker's Construct. Oh, almost forgot about the Witchery books. So I thought to myself: "Why not take the font from one texture pack and put it in another?" So I searched Google and saw some ways that didn't quite make sense. One suggested that I take some file called "ascii.png" and swap them out. Thing is, this texture pack doesn't have that kind of file, or at least the version I am currently using, which is the modded version. So I come to you for help. Anyway I can change the font to something more readable for me so I don't have to switch texture packs every time I wanna read a book?

    Done, Steel. Look for my post on the server forums. Also, I have been absent from my deviantart page for a while. My wacom tablet's been acting funny. I saw the message on my Youtube page, but I got lazy in responding. Also, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn has been awesome, but I still found myself missing Minecraft and you all as well. So here I am. I can't guarantee I'll be on as much as I used to but I'll try to not disappear for months at a time... unless something terrible happens to my laptop or something. Looking forward to seeing you all whenever I get the server IP and modpack from the other forums. :D

    Wow. I've been away from a long time. Final Fantasy XIV:ARR has been awesome, but I do miss Minecraft. If I'm still on the white list, could someone send me a inbox message with the server address and link to download modpack download? :D

    Well, well, well! Map reset? 'Bout time. Think I'll get back into the game now. FF XIV:ARR has been a blast and I haven't even finished the story yet, but... I have missed Minecraft and all ye server people. I assume the link to download the new pack is the same? Also what version of Minecraft are we running on?

Then Steel/Q needs to upload it to the download site, and who knows how long that takes. Updating isn't as easy as get new versions, "drop in, TA-DAH! It works fine with no problems at all!"

    Go to ArcanaCraft or something. After your little outburst without thinking things through, I don't particularily want to see you on the server, as you sound extremely entitled.


    My gawd, I take a leave of absence from Minecraft for a bit and this is what happens?? (Been hooked on FF:XIV, btw) Who trolled who and who went too far (if that was the case)?
