Having big issues with random textures getting weird sandstone stairs texture, looks like the old glowstone texture. Image uploaded here.
Not sure what has happened but random textures seems to be defunked in latest 1.7.10. Is there a way to fix this because I cannot fine the texture that is being use on the stairs anywhere now.
I do not want to start the world gen over this is a 10kx10k map with structures. This would be a major setback.
My concern with block #180 are these statements.

I have in the crash report 679 blocks in one region, I have no idea if this is a specific biome forming but this is the first time BoP has caused an error, and all on one block. Deleted the chunks in question then restarted upon entering it resulted in the same crash, even when I remove all other generating mods, so no conflicts on the second attempt of the world without previous world player buildings.
Could you, next time, post that crash report on Pastebin and then link that here?
You do not have to delete you player data. You can edit just the coordinates with NBT Explorer. It is not that hard, just try it.
Done and dropbox requires no membership to retrieve files so all your doing is DL a text file. But as requested if its more convenient to you link is above in post.

Created a 17kX2 map with water and added all the biomes to make a template, but its harder when editing a pre-generated world that has BOP in it already.
Would it be possible to have an export and import function added to the biomes for saving/loading custom biomes, instead of having to add the information one at a time each time a new map is created? If this is able to be done at present, I have found no info on it.
in other words if I create a new map, importing say custom biomes that work with mods like BOP. Create the map and go to biomes and import the biomes from a file like we do custom object files. Just an inquiry.
I haven't tested it, but there's no reason it wouldn't run on Windows 10. Are you sure you have 64-bit Java installed? Sounds like you may have only the 32-bit version.
I upgraded to Windows 10 and no issues with WP at all, it works as it has on Win 7SP1 64 bit. (Running Win 10 64 Bit) the upgrade to W10 was smooth no problems other than a video driver reroll.
Found my tree issue, it was not a texture pack as most thought it was Forestry mod. Forestry adds many trees and blocks to match them, awesome mod too. Not totally compatible with RWG yet but in works so I was told.
Re-applied Biomes O Plenty and wow, the biomes went wild in just a 1k x 1k area. BoP and RWG together make an awesome world. Still expanding to 16k to see how things work.
Tunnels and mines are looking perfect as far as I have seen. When oceans get implemented I will re-gen the world and see what happens there.
I will also be trying diff mods to see how they mess with the generation of the world, any suggestions as to mods to try please pm me.
I love the way the mod is turning out. It ill also go great when I add areas from World Painter, people just have to remember that this is alpha and the mods that say they are compatible may not be fully up to compatibility at anytime due to this mod being in constant change. When it hits beta phase it will be more stable (hopefully) with the other mods.

textures is probably due to your texture pack. I personally have no
issue with the BoP textures with the default texture pack.
I have used JSTR, Conquest and others and they all seem to do the same but thi sis alpha and I am playing around with diff tex packs, the ones I have do not even have mahogany wood in them but it still shows up, weird. Will keep playing with the packs. Default will never work for me Conquest is all I use now. Seems it is Forestry compatability that is causing issues here on trees.
For those looking at configs yes the ocean biome is in there but it evidently is not set in the world gen info yet so sit back and hold on or you may drown when it becomes implemented.
The snow is a factor of RWG, even without the Big Trees mod there are trees in the world generated by RWG with snow on them and not in a snow region. Just remember RWG is in Alpha so these are the things that need to be posted by users on that forum.
