Yeah, I'm living the friggin' American dream. Haven't done laundry in weeks; if it smells funny, spray it down with Febreeze and throw it on. There's moldy food in the fridge. I don't want to check the mail because I know it'll just be bills and spam from the local grocery store.

Dinner is a burrito with Velveeta and last Tuesday's leftover KFC.

Wow. I actually feel slightly better about my own life after reading that entire post.

I didn't intend to go into hiding or whatever. If I realistically wanted to do that I would make an alt but I don't feel like doing that.

Looking at your previous posts I noticed you mentioned something about changing your biography to confuse people. Looking at it again it appears to have been more of a joke. My mistake if your intentions weren't you trying to go into hiding, but I still figured I should've pointed that out there regardless. c:

Does anyone know who I was?

Thunderhoof mah man. Tip for the next time you try going into hiding or whatever: Don't rename your account after an avatar that your previous username had while also proceeding to use the same avatar or a new avatar that features the same character. It makes it blatantly obvious who you used to be to the people who browse this section of the forum everyday. Don't even mention the fact that you used to go by a different username if your intentions were to start out with a clean slate, because then people will get curious and go out of their way to view your post history to see who you used to be.

I learned how to check a pineapple for ripeness on Google about a week ago (and also how to cut one) and today I put my knowledge to the test and ate the juiciest, tastiest pineapple I have ever eaten. Always wanted a fresh pineapple but never got to try one, as a kid I always had to eat the crap that came packaged in the plastic cups. Don't really remember why either. The pineapple I got was $1.85 and I got way more fruit out of it than the cups and it is stupidly easy to cut into rings once you learn that the skin really isn't all that tough to cut into.

So, I started school on Monday, and I take French. I got my first homework in french, and the thing is, the teacher didn't even teach us what the words meant. Almost as if the teacher expected everyone in their class to know how to speak basic french before school.

I have a feeling that within a month or so, I'll have an F in that class.

    In that case:

1.) Google the definitions of the words and reword them for your answers. Maybe leave a few wrong answers to set the bar lower for yourself, then when your teacher actually does start teaching you French you can actually put in effort into your homework and exceed their expectations.

2.) Your teacher probably expects that you won't know the words that were given to you, in which case just fill in whatever or ask them for help whenever you get the chance; but don't put down any correct answers or else they will either assume you have a stronger understanding in French than you actually have or they might suspect you of cheating. If you can call them or e-mail them then ask for help and give them your situation. Like, you have an entire weekend duuuuude. Don't fret over it.

You don't need to put them back in the fridge once you've pre-cooked the fries. Just remove them from the oil when they are cooked and soft, but not browned yet, Then drain them on a paper towel. Putting them in the fridge while you wait for the second cook may ruin it. But when you are ready to cook them again, turn the heat up a bit and fry them until golden brown. Remove them, and drain them on a paper towel again. Also note that the first time you cook them you should have the oil at a lesser heat than the second time.

Also, if you are doing a large amount of fries, don't cook the entire lot at once, do them in smaller portions to ensure that they are all evenly cooked. The first time you cook them (just to soften them), keep the heat at about 300 F. the second time about 400 F.

And yeah, soaking them in water for a while before you start the process is a good idea, and at that stage it doesn't matter if they are refrigerated or not. just be sure to dry them off in paper towel before chucking them in the oil. (use fresh paper towels in each step of the process)

By the time I saw your post I already put the pre-cooked fries in the fridge (they've been in there for over an hour already). Oh well, if it does mess them up at least I know what to do the next time I make these. I did do the rest of the stuff pretty spot on with what you said though, but I heard to deep fry them at 350 for the second time. Guess I'll make the first batch at 350, then fry them at a higher temperature if they don't turn out right. Thanks for the advice. c:

EDIT: Just finished dinner about an hour ago and the fries I cooked were slightly crispy on the outside and were fluffy on the inside. Definitely going to experiment around with different methods of preparation and cooking french fries since buying a bag of russet potatoes from Sam's Club is cheaper than buying the frozen stuff.

So I just finished up cutting a few tatters for some homemade frenchie fries that I plan on making for dinner, and I am pretty set in my current method of preparation and cooking for these; but I was wondering a few things. I submerged the tatters in water and I just put them in the fridge, is that a good idea or should I leave them at room temperature? Does it even matter? Also, after I fry them the first time then wait a few hours to fry them the final time, should I put them back in the fridge or leave them in room temperature until I am ready to fry them again?

I used to just cut up the frenchie fries and put them immediately in the deep fryer at 375F but right now I am looking to step up my frenchie fry game since they come out soggy and kind of bleh. Right now I am soaking them in water before going to bed (5:16AM pls end me) to get rid of the excess starch and I am going to fry them at 300F when I wake up at 1:30PM, then let them set for a few hours until I fry them again at 350F. So I guess it is a bit late to be asking this question but it will be good to know for future preparation of frenchie fries.

Well guys, I finally found it. A version of Smash Mouth's All Star that is equally as terrible if not worse than the version of All Star sang by Kidz Bop. Pop 4 Kids is like a much more obscure version of Kidz Bop which I owned as a kid that I forgot about and recently found again in my father's CD case. Now I shall bestow upon you all this unheard of terror from the depths of meme hell.

I don't drink coffee. Drinks served hot/warm are alright but I prefer to have a nice cold beverage over a hot one. Additionally, coffee has the opposite effects on me than it is supposed to have in that it actually makes it harder for me to stay awake.

Alolan Parasect would be cool, but if we got one I would personally be disappointed if it wasn't a Bug/Fairy type and if it wasn't infected by Morelull.
