    So, besides the massive lag I'm loving the update. 2 things I'd like to maybe see improved in a future update:


    1. Like the hive resin, very alien, but the connecting textures for when they are right next to eachother are kinda weird. I tested out having the queen and drones make a hive on their own in creative in a village, and once it covered most of the houses they look like they have black pillars going all around them. They also spread along the all the walls way faster than the floor. Got the buildings covered fast and only a few spots on the gorund. I know this is the first update with the system in place, and I like the look so far.


    2. Been sitting in said village above for about 5 minutes or so and the queen has not spawned her ovipositor. Maybe speed it up or a config so we can? Don't get me wrong, I know its not supposed to happen right away but for game mechanics.

    So me and some friends have made a custom pack to play with, version 1.7.10. I want to add shaders for my own client. I added it in and I can't do anything but sit on the title screen. Making a single player world or trying to join the multiplayer world causes the whole game to freeze with the error GL Error in TileDrawStep: 1286. I remove the mod and everything works just fine. If I need to post a log I'll make a new one. Any idea what happened?

    So, I'm a little confused on the Convocation of the Damned. I'm playing on the Simply Magic 1.7.10 pack with friends. I've done this ritual before in a different pack and its worked. However, while playing on Simply Magic it doesn't want to activate at all. I get the "You feel a pull" when I click the the activation crystal. I've checked multiple guides, remade the whole ritual a few times, moved it around too, I've checked all of the linking and they all were linked properly. I have 15m in my network, even tried making another orb rune just in case. I'm really lost as to why its not working. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Ok, so I have a little problem. I've added the newest version of both Mantle and TConstruct to my mods I am playing with, and when I make a new world the inventory screen pops up on the TC armor tab, and no matter what I do it just keeps reopening. I've tried to change from creative to survival and I get a "fatal exception" and crash back to the main menu. If I remove them then my pack works just fine. I've looked around on the net to see if anyone else had this issue and I can't find anyone who does. I would like to play with it in my pack, so is there maybe a compatibility issues with certain mods?

    So I was testing out some mods to make sure they work together (including AVP) when I found this floating in the sky, which reminds me of a Engineer ship. This was a random generated world, and the structure could only come from this mod or Wasteland, and I doubt its that one. o.o Am I wrong in assuming its part of AVP? Cause this thing freaks me out that it spawned above spawn.

    After reading more closely it seems you are using VILLAGER skins on a custom npc steve model. The villager skins are for the villager model only as they are completely different models.



    EDIT:


    Possibly bug report for the 1.8 version.

    When entering the linked window for npcs it graphics on the window constantly flash and the window cannot be closed which forces you to force quit the game if you wish to continue playing.


    Nope, you got it at me using a villager skin on the Steve model. Think I have to play around a little with the different models, could be why some of my custom skins aren't working (may be for Alex not Steve). Thanks.

    So recently I've been having problems with the skins. The normal Steve and stuff like those work, but when I try to use one of the villager ones I get this abomination, it also happens with a few of the ones I put in there, but not all. I am using CustomNPC_1.7.10c, and I do have other mods but the skins used to work even with the other mods. Any ideas as to why the skins are messing up?

    So I would like to make a zombie custom mod adventure map but I need a few skins I can't find (and trust me I've spent a few hours trying). And since I am terrible at making them I thought I would put out a request.

    To put it simply I am looking for:

    -Some type of futuristic soldier/guard and a "zombified" version

    -Various (like 3? for variety) scientist/researcher and a "zombified" version

    ^_^ Thanks in advance for everything. And I'm not really too picky on the little details on the skins (like hair color and stuff).

    Then can you do me a favor? Check those other mods config files and see if they have the same biome ID as an Aoa biome. It only takes one to ruin your whole experience :D If that turns out to be the case, you'll need to change the biome ID to a different number, then open up a new world.


    Found it. Thaumcraft Taint biome has the same id. Thanks for the help. ^_^

    I love this mod, love playing with this mod, but I found a problem. Probably been posted before, but I found a Crystevia biome in overworld. I don't have Biomes OP or Biomes XL, usuing a default world type. Am I right to assume this isn't normal?

    It's only in the 1st person view, and only when you look down.


    When others are looking at you (or you are in 3rd party rear/front view) it is just fine.


    I find it hard to play third person, especially while building stuff. Shoulder Cam mod kinda helps, but still. xD

    Not sure if there are any 'shader specific' settings in the config options for that mod. I have no idea if anything is conflicting or not.


    Changed the hand depth to .0625 and don't notice any difference.

    Eh, I'll just play without the shaders I guess.
