posted a message on Pokken Tournament announced! (Pokemon fighting game)
They've already got my two favorites (Lucario and Blaziken) but I would like to see Typhlosion too. He would make a very interesting character to play as in a fighting game. I'm also hoping that it comes to 3DS since I haven't gotten a Wii U yet but I doubt that will happen.

Yeah, this seems like a pretty good idea. I have had some Ender Themed builds I've done in the past where other types of bookshelves would work way better. Support.

posted a message on Lee Everett (Walking Dead) vs John Marston (Red Dead Redemption) Who's more heroic?
I think that John Marston was way more heroic. Lee Everett killed zombies. John Marston killed men. And bears. And everyone know that when you kill a bear, you are a man.

posted a message on Lucina and Robin in Super Smash Bros 4
I'm almost positive the reason that Robin and Lucina were included instead of Hector or Alm was that Awakening is far more popular than the games they were in (the titles escape me at the moment) so it would make sense to put the more popular characters in the game. I am glad that they are including more FE characters because they are some of the most under-rated and under appreciated games of the last 2 console generations.

posted a message on Dark Souls not a hard as you would think
The game is hard, but I don't think that I could beat it without dying. I'm close to beating the game but I'm waiting to get Dark Souls II then beat I. Personally, it's pretty easy beyond your first playthrough because you pick up on all the tips and tricks and then you can breeze through it.

posted a message on Villages Using Banners And Banner Improvements
I think this would be such an awesome addition! Maybe if they couldn't make them all completely random just have certain presets until they find a way to code it into the game. Or maybe they could just have a certain number of presets that could be combined with others and just go from there. Also, is anyone getting the feel that they will soon be adding pirate ships from the Jolly Roger banner?

It would be better if it had some use other than just making tools and weapons. If it had another use maybe, but Mojang said that they are not adding any more armor or weapon tiers and it would also be making one of Minecraft's biggest icons obsolete (the diamond sword) so No Support

    Quote from Elaxter

Dark Souls' bosses never needed REAL strategies to beat. Just dodge, block, run around and stab/shoot. Dark Souls II feels easier because it's so much smoother.

Actually, some of them need some strategy. Others are insanely easy though so it kind of balances everything out.

This is an awful idea. Adding these things to Survival is just not good. I could give myself infinite diamonds or Wither Stars or whatever. They should stay creative only.

I don't really see why yes man would be the 'default' , the others all seem feasible.

There are quite a couple of in-game hints that kind of lead you to think that Yes Man is the default choice. I know that one of them is the Duster you see in the ending credits of Lonesome Road. No matter which one you actually get, the cutscene will always show the Yes Man one. The Yes Man path is the only one you can't fail because if you try to kill Yes Man, he will just respawn. Also, at the end of the Independent New Vegas it hints that the NCR will be back so technically almost all endings could occur with enough time passed. Also, if you talk to the forecaster he describes everything from the start of the game to the first couple of Wildcard quests so it's hinted that you will do those. So, technically the Yes Man path is the canon one. Technically. There is a lot of evidence out there but it's been awhile since I've played the games so I can't quite remember.

I never quite understood this. Fallout 3 was just lookin' for Liam Neeson, you find Liam Neeson, Liam Neeson is dead, commence generic good guy vs bad guy plot. Oh, and you waltz into a radiation-filled chamber to save some water even though you (probably) have a super mutant friend who could do it instead.

Broken Steel fixed a lot of the problems with the ending and made the end a little more choice friendly. Other than that, the begginning is what made you actually care for the characters and then you go from there. New Vegas is mostly just go to x location, kill x, acquire x item and then bring it back to x character.

When it comes to dialogue, story line, characters, New Vegas did those far better than Fallout 3 did. No question about it, Obsidian creates far more interesting and better story while Bethesda creates more interesting world.

In my opinion Fallout New Vegas should have been Fallout 3, because _everything_ Fallout 3 did, New Vegas took it and improved it. Simple as that.

I don't know about that. I liked New Vegas but the story in Fallout 3 was way better to me but that's just my personal preference.

You don't even explain how the story in vegas was trash, it was far far better than fallout three in which the entire story is good guys (brotherhood, who weren't even good guys originally in the first place) vs the bad guys (the enclave). In new vegas each faction had drawbacks and advantages with far more complicated characters (compare house or caesar to eden or autumn). And what difficulty are you playing on? On very hard you couldn't kill a deathclaw in two hits with a melee weapon. Fallout 3 was a game that felt like it was only a few years after the bomb, this was never the point of fallout. The point of fallout was how civilisation would look after they got past the initial survival stages of a nuclear holocaust. New Vegas shows this much better than fallout 3. Also linking the bethesda forums to support your argument of which is better is a bit bias as fallout 3 was made by bethesda but new vegas wasn't.

In Fallout 3, I felt that the BOS was whoever you wanted them to be. In New Vegas you see that the BOS isn't all that is cracked up to be and are more morally neutral than they looked in 3 but that carries over so you kind of have this idea that they may be hiding something from you, or you are just looking at the Fallout 3 BOS through rose colored glasses. In New Vegas, most of the factions had there dark secrets and redeeming qualities but some of them were just plain bad (Caesar's Legion) I can agree that Fallout NV had it's more in-depth characters but Fallout 3 also had it's more interesting characters as well. The thing on 3 being right after the bomb is fairly accurate but I think the larger amount of Super Mutants and the fact that D.C. is the capital of America and therefore the area that most countries targeting us would aim for, can somewhat account for the lack of progression whereas, in New Vegas, it was protected from the bombs by Mr. House. While this can't account for the surrounding areas most of the people in Las Vegas would diffuse into the countryside and would result in the higher population, as opposed to the desolate area around Washington.

They run out fast, but they mine stone faster than diamond.

They are used for strip mines.

They can't be used for strip mines because they have so low durability. The fact that they mine so fast is counteracted by their low durability so that their usefulness is extremely limited.
