What's the new flavors feature and how do I use it?
On the view page for your pack you can click on your textures and set them to be included in a preset (1,2,3,4). This will make it so that whenever a user clicks the '1' flavor option it selects all textures included in the preset category it was assigned to. Textures don't have to be apart of any set and you can change the name of the presets (aka flavors) from 1,2,3,4 to whatever you want. The flavor button will only appear for users if it has at least 1 texture assigned to that flavor/preset.
If you're talking about how do you do that for your pack, in the edit/publish page you deselect 'Show customizer for textures that have only one option'
No worries. We own both domains (minecraftcustomizer.net and minecraftcustomizer.com). The cookie just doesn't recognize that you're logged in if you use a different domain.
We decided to go ahead and try a dedicated server out (for a month a least). Within the next couple days we should no longer have any issues with being overburdened.
An update to this. Hostgator took down the site again for overtaxing their servers. We spoke with them again and got them to try putting it back up (but they took it down again because the traffic spiked again.).
Now instead they've escalated setting up the dedicated server and the transfer over. In the mean time the site will be down, however.

Just so everyone knows, our hosting service suspended minecraftcustomizer.net for being a processor ***** :tongue.gif:. Considering that 1.8 came out today, this is decidedly inconvenient timing.
Fortunately our new hosting account (with a different company) has finally opened and we begin the rocky process of changing hosts.
EDIT: We got them to reactivate it. We haven't switched yet and are in the process of it, but in the mean time the old one should be up again.
After some exchanges with the forum admin, Beltir (who did not close the thread), the old thread is now reactivated (I can even keep the links). Link to the Old Thread.
The new forums on Minecraft Customizer, however, will remain up as it is simply the best way to organize the information. Within a single thread feature requests and bug reports get lost easily.
alright guys. I can't remember who, but someone was SUPER helpful in mapping out all of the BTW textures in both the terrain and items palettes. If this person has this information still, or anybody else does, that would be GREAT.
We need to get BTW updated ASAP!!!!!!!!!!
Bah, there was a lot of important information in that thread. The silly thing is that all I had to do to fix the stringent violation was remove a couple links.

Very good question. It should be fixed now (according to Bramamine).

I'm guessing particles that float up from the town's border.

Yes, that.
