The spam was way out of hand, to say the least. I just put in some additional countermeasures, which should curb to eliminate it.

OK, help me out here. I seem to recall there being mention of a customizer with alternates for this pack, but I can't for the life of me find a link. I mention because I'm not really feeling the redesigned pine leaves (b1.9pre5). While the new ones are certainly well done, to me the overlapping star shapes don't feel nearly as pine-y as the elongated pointy ones you had previous (which is silly given the star ones are a bit closer to the types of irl pines we have where I live). I can easily swap them manually in GIMP, but I was curious about the other alternates I thought I'd read about too. Are the alternates I'm thinking of really just the mod support you offer? Thanks in advance, Sphax84.
Edit: You know, that more I think about, the more I understand why I feel the way I do. We have 2 leaf block types and by default they're stylistically the same with very minor visual differences: Biome-compliant patchy green with holes and darker patchy green with holes. Your elongated pointy pine leaves do a fantastic job of visually separating themselves from regular/birch leaves. There really should be 3 leaf blocks to tinker with graphically, but Notch/Jeb won't be doing that. The star shaped pine leaves are very nice, but to my eye they harken to the looks-the-same feeling Default has.

That would be fine with me! You could ask the guys over at the Dokucraft Saga thread to try giving it a shot while you're out of ideas.

Previously it was literally impossible for us to support such high resolutions. Now that we have some more resources it might be possible, but probably not worthwhile. It would be really slow to generate, may time out and we'd have to go back and change a lot of tricky code to support it all the while taking up over 16 times the resources that a 16x16 pack does.
So, no, I don't think that's going to happen :sad.gif:

I forgot to mention, the reward is that you'll be allowed to customize your pack's background if you have a pack.

Hey all, It's been almost 3 weeks now, I think And I'm still getting the "Old Outdated Server" page when I try to acces the site. I've got no idea what to do about this. I've seen people say that you need to use "OpenDNS" but I'm most of all computer-handicapped, so I have no idea what to do / Afraid to break my computer. :\
Anyone got any tips perhaps?
Its quite simply a matter of changing your preferred DNS to a specific number. If this link isn't sufficient to let you know how to do it you should be able to google search for how to do so.

some of my textures are not implemented when i upload my terrain file, and i will not upload them every single one each.

and some textures are missing and are replaced by the standart 16x textures
I'll look into these when I get home. Which textures aren't uploading? Can you show me the terrain.png you're trying to upload? If it is saying 18 dupicates then it believes that 18 of the textures being uploaded are already uploaded (either by you in your own pack or someone else who has their textures protected in their pack). Also, could it be that you just aren't noticing them being uploaded (have you checked the edittextures page? there's a link to it in the top right of the publish/edit page).

For anyone else, my question is :
There are some prerequisites for having your pack included on Browse. You must have at least 10 downloads, I think, around 15 textures uploaded (again, not sure on the exact number) and you must have a browse image uploaded (you can do this at the top of the edit page for your pack). If all these conditions are met, only then will it be findable on the Browse page.
