ExtraTiC seems to cause some discrepancies with the built-in compatibility in Tinker's Construct for Thermal Foundation.

I cannot repair any tools with the Shiny material, which is from Thermal Foundation. Attempting to repair tools made with this material will not work, as the tool forge will not show the repaired tool.

I checked by removing ExtraTiC, and the repair worked normally that time.

This may be linked to the fact that the Metallurgy Platinum, when melted down and casted, turns into Shiny tool parts.

However, I'm not the maker of these mods, so the reason for the issue may be completely different.

Any help on this situation?

How exactly am I supposed to beat the Grim Reaper? I've summoned him and brought him to half health, but at that point he simply flies out of reach and regenerates his health. Since he's immune to arrows and potions, how exactly am I supposed to hit/kill him? Do I build a tower to the sky and hit him there? That seems a bit unpractical. And when I do hit him in the air, he simply disappears.

Still on 1.7.10 for reference.

Step 2: Click "I don't know my password" and enter your email.

Step 3: If Google recognizes your email, they will show it. Enter the last password you remember.

Step 4: In fine print below the email recovery page, there is a line that says:

"Can't access this recovery option? Verify your identity by answering multiple questions about your account."

So let me get this straight:

You have two email addresses. You have also had two Minecraft accounts in your lifetime, each with different email addresses.

The one linked to your main Minecraft acccount has been "hacked". You do not have access to this account.

The one linked to your other old "broken" Minecraft account is nonexistent. You do not have access to this account.

And you did not set up any security/recovery options on your main account? No phone number or anything? Security is a necessity, especially in these times.

You can also verify your identity to reset your password. Did you try that?

Next time please put this into Modded Client Support as a Crash Report is not a Mod.

I also advise you to look up your crash reports before posting as someone may have already had your problem before. I did find a thread where someone did have the same error as you.

Also, please try to make your Crash Report a bit more organized next time. It's a bit hard to read.

Anyway, for the fix:

You are currently using Forge 1487. The Shaders mod is not compatible with Forge 1469 and above.

Please downgrade Forge.

Alright, here goes.

I have just recently acquired a decently good gaming computer. Yes, the SEUS should be compatible, but my question is this:

Is this still for version 1.7.5? Or is it compatible with other, newer versions? I would like to play this on 1.8.

Yes, I know I should know this already, but I am too lazy to browse through 1,300 pages of forum discussion.

From links I have, this shader is 1.7.5. The GLSL Shaders mod is 1.7.10 and 1.8. Forge is 1.7.2, 1.7.10, and 1.8. Optifine is everything.

If there is an updated, 1.8 compatible version of this shader, can anyone please be as kind as to provide me the link to it.

These kinds of people don't understand that this mod is cheating on any survival/adventure worlds. It's not a shortcut. It's not an "emergency life support". It's flat out cheating. Unless you're a mapmaker. Well then be my guest.

This includes both singleplayer and multiplayer. Now I don't know what these people do in singleplayer but multiplayer is actually unacceptable for any survival/adventure worlds. Why? The possibilities for exploit are endless.

Now I certainly believe all-Creative worlds are fine. On the bright side of this mod, you can create some interesting weapons with lore or whatever stuff you can do.

But multiplayer is disabled. And it's for a reason. Creative may be fine, but no Creative server will take a toll huge enough that it causes shutdown from this mod being eradicated on their servers.

There will be people who appeal claiming, "We will be responsible. All of us!" No. You can bet your life that there will be that one person who will cheat. There always has been, there always will be.

Multiplayer support on creative servers is completely fine, as long as there are no other people playing in Survival Mode on that server, because I can easily see the ways this mod could potentially be abused.

I do not in any way recommend Multiplayer Survival/Adventure Mode support however. There are many people who would use it for malicious intent.

And a pro tip: Don't rush the author. He has his own pace.
