So Mega Rayquaza's been confirmed, and it apparently evolves differently compared to other Megas. Also, here's part of the legend that was posted on the official Pokémon site:

"It was a primal age, early in the world's history... The natural world was overflowing with energy. That energy granted Groudon and Kyogre an overwhelming power. Seeking ever more of that energy for themselves, the two clashed again and again, and their battles cast the people and Pokémon of Hoenn into great danger. Brimming with the overwhelming power granted by the energy of nature, this transformation was named by later people "Primal Reversion." And the people called their tormentors Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre.

One Pokémon looked down upon this battle from the sky above. The Pokémon that dances in the heavens: Rayquaza. Rayquaza is venerated by the people of Hoenn as their protector and savior. When Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre had battled for 20 dawns and 20 nights, the world began to lose its natural balance and tilt toward destruction. The people, unable to endure any more, cried out to their mighty savior Rayquaza before a great stone that shone with rainbow brilliance. And a change came upon Rayquaza, weaving in the sky above Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre. Suffused in brilliant light, its body began to transform visibly. And then..."

And here's what it looks like along with its new Ability and Move:

My jaw just grew by several metres.

I have to get this game when it's released.

Anyway, I'm curious about what they'll do in North America... We're pretty much the only place left with no means of distribution yet (but at least we still have official confirmation).

EDIT: "For those of you in Australia, the details of the Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire demo have been released. This demo is to be distributed by Nintendo sending out codes to select Club Nintendo members on October 15th. Following that, it'll be available at certain retailers from November 3rd. We'll bring more details on more countries as we get them
Edit @ 08:51: For those of you in Norway, Sweden, Denmark & Finland, you can go on the official Nintendo website for Sweden in order to register for the code. Once registered, you will receive the code on October 16th
Edit @ 14:55: For those of you in South Africa, you can receive the demo at the rAge expo, for the first 1500 people or at BT Games, Toy Zone, Toys R Us, or AWX while stocks last."

Okay, so where's North America? <_<

There is a distinct lack of New Zealand...

    Darn Australia.

    Now for something Pokemon related:

If I had a Pokesona, it probably wouldn't be my avatar. Well, maybe. Maybe.

I wonder... If you have an OC that uses dimensional/Non-Dimensional portals, is that Godmodding?

Because I like to fool with people, Id practically open portals to avoid certain attacks such as projectiles and melee attacks.

I could also open another portal that makes their attack come right back to them. Is this OP?

    Yes.

You're dodging AND attacking with portals, which itself is quite ridiculous unless you're in certain RPs with superpowers. But, even then that can incur powergaming if the moves miss all the time, and happen to always hit the enemy.

You know... there was a time, where I'd be angry for getting banned from RPs. Whether that be for annoyance, reporting, depression, etc.

It appears one of my friends has been banned. Now, I'm furious, knowing they have to go through the pain I had to.

But, that's beside the point. You're being paranoid, thinking we're just gonna rip off your RPs and go on the success we've forged before. Even if we really did rip off your roleplays, people wouldn't exactly join them over originality concerns, so there's little in it for us really. You're being stubborn, alienating strangers and perceiving Lugia's statement as a threat, and then branding everyone else as a threat by proclaiming how we can't discuss things normally with you without the threat of punishment. You've become little different to all those other GMs, and strayed away from your dreams of having a successful Pokemon roleplay. Now, you've just made us go back to Roleplayer Guild, to which we show little remorse to this forum now. You want to roleplay? Do it with a heart, not mixed with stress and limited time, taking it out on us as if we're the new guys. Again.

I can see why Dinh's had enough of you and everyone else around here.

The kindest words I will express to you as I leave: Good. Bye.

That application was terrible! (slight exaggeration.) You used the same name as your existing character. It was like a day by day journal (I couldn't read it, no matter how much quality there may have been in there, if i can't find it then it doesn't make a difference) I had to skim the vast majority of it.

Your pokemon look like they've been ripped from Smogon and one move has been replaced.

Your backstory shouldn't be every town you've ever visited, in order including all the time between gaining each pokemon, let's be honest, only one or two enthusiastic individuals are going to read that. An application is supposed to be something anyone can read to get an understanding of your character.

If you're supposed to be one of the champions, you should have some sort of theme, also i'm guessing to make it fair champions will get to choose how many pokemon their opponent and themselves use and what form of battle it will be (To mix it up)

Finally your team is literally a competitive online team from XY, made up a Politoad to buff Ludicolo to cover Heatran's weaknesses and a Sanditar/Droughtizard to power up Heatran (With Excadrill, an equally Top tier of the meta pokemon for a Heatran replacement to make it look like you're mixing it up.) for some really unoriginal battles. You literally built a team around Heatran before you got Heatran which is not believable in the slightest, i'd sooner accept someone finding an Arceus in strange circumstances.

I'm sorry, it's denied beyond comprehension, there's no way you can fix up this to make it work, you'd have to flip the entire backstory so you obtained a Heatran first and built this specific team around it, that is the only way i'd accept this specific combination of Pokemon and still i'd be unlikely to ever accept a combination like this.
I'd say that i'm being harsh, but no Meta-Gaming is literally Rule 1, by creating a 100% meta team you would be breaking a rule and i couldn't accept you anyways.

Make what you like of it, whether that be support or betrayal. Does all of that constitute an appropriate response, after what we've all been through? Pretend you've gotta read that while handling two roleplays at once. I could care less.

EDIT: It as also come to attention that Solawind apparently uses a modified variant of a Smogon team. Well, there's goes sanity, here comes hypocrisy.

Okay, i'm awake. I'm just going to say that Lugia's application broke the "No metagaming" rule which is part of rule 1 of any RP.

If Evanist and Kabling want to leave because 1 of Lugia's applications was denied, i'm completely fine with that, I respect everyone's choices and will not force them otherwise.

Ye say this as if we're supporting bad people for the wrong reasons. We've decided on 'unwelcoming behaviour' and 'really damned overreaction' when it comes to you, and our reasons for leaving.

I don't even know what Smogon is, but by the sound of things, it would be rather... unrealistic, to say the least, to not have a Smogon-similar thing going on in the world of Pokemon. 'Cause you know, you can now have death around if you're not careful in your RP.

That out of the way, while Lugia did probably break a rule, it was only for a minor character AND an application which dwarfs in comparison to what your application is - you don't really have to give such a harsh reaction (harsh by my standards - even I found it unnecessary). By the looks of things, you could've just simply denied it and told him not to use Smogon. Yet, you decided to follow up on your previous behaviour and alienate three people through the comment for one. Just as we try NOT to cut off links with Minecraft Forums. Your friends may not mind your behaviour, but unfortunately strangers like us do. The (main) problem isn't what he did, but how you reacted. So what this youth got caught stealing? The police don't have the right to torture him. There's no right or wrong answer, but there is an ethic around.

If we're gonna leave, we're gonna do it peacefully. We're not argue, we're gonna leave. T'is a shame things broke down quickly.

    ...

Oh, I didn't notice that post of yers. Ah well, this still stands. It's as ironic as the depression note I wrote on my Steam profile (link on clicking the image signature of mine).

Sola has a terrible since of humour. He's all serious then claims it's a joke. And they're terrible in the end.

    Seeya alls.

    ...

Seriously though, I've also RPed with Lugia for around 3 years. I'd rather stick with him, because Sola seems unnecessarily hostile at times. While I didn't see this behaviour in the PM with him, I'd rather stick with my friends. If Lugia claim's are true (and they probably are, since Sola doesn't seem friendly to strangers), then I have no choice but to follow through with his actions. Simple. I won't go as far as saying I dislike Sola, but in the end I can't just pretend there's nothing going on behind the scenes. It's likely he'll argue about Lugia's actions and the fact that it's just a minor app, but if he leaves, then I'll have to leave anyway.

That, and I've got writer's block for this RP.

I would stay, but unfortunately I'm out of contacts in the RP. At least reliable ones.

FYI, a proper Pokemon RP just requires Pokemon. You should've seen a year ago how many were around.

A favourite hobby of mine was to imagine fantastic stories and heroic tales, sharing them with my late friend and trainer Miles. It seemed my trainer's death had discouraged me from doing that any further. It's the stuff of dreams after all. Dreams don't bring back the dead. Not even our God Pokemon could revive those who have passed away. No matter how many stories I make, none of them will be real.

My name is Miles Hall. As you may notice, it is an alias. I never had a name. I was simply referred to as "The Noibat," with some deviations such as "The Annoying-bat." Me and him only did that once, since it was a disappointing play on words. It fit the situation at the time, though.

It had been five years since my trainer's passing. His family had moved on. I wasn't ready to move on, at least not that quickly. Images were sealed in a safe. The mother commanded the father they return to their jobs for income. I didn't want to forget him so easily. So, I stole an image of my trainer from the safe, a wrinkled band of paper that had me lying on my trainer's head. A week before his passing. An image worth a thousand words, and a million memories.

As I flew around the house, I heard rain splatter against our old windows. The father simply sniffed, sitting by the mother near a lit fireplace. "Lauren... I don't want to throw away this one." They were sorting out the images they didn't want. The father wore a brown jacket that reached down to his waist. He had a blue horizontally-stripped shirt underneath. He wore old jeans and his black hair was always ruffled, with white hairs beginning to show on the sides. His hands were quite rough and his feet were worse. His voice was coarse but understandable.

"You have to. That was the day where Miles fell off his bike." The mother... she was strange. She had a cold voice, mixed with warmth and... sounding like she was holding something back. She always did. She often wore a coat with a red shirt behind it. She wore pink- no, purple glasses with her dark brown hair tied behind it. Before my trainer's passing, she wore long white boots. Now, she wears regular shoes you would normally find in a lab. She had been quieter lately. She hadn't aged well, but it was hard to see wrinkles on her face from this distance.

"No... no. I-I can't do this, Lauren. I can't jus' burn them an' feel better afterwards. They're th'only things we have of Miles..." The father responded, coughing at the end of his sentence. The mother didn't move, stuck in place as she listened to him.

"James, we..." She stopped short of telling him to burn my trainer's only reminders. I felt an anger dissipating the longer she stopped talking. They didn't mind me on a brown drawer, with rain hitting the window behind me and the fire cracking wood. "James. We have to move on-"

"Just stop, Lauren. Where'd ye even get the idea of burnin' our memories? Leave them alone. Miles' gone, but I don't want no ashes in our safe." The father insisted on keeping the images, barely raising his voice.

As I scratched my ear, the mother simply stood up and neatly stacked the photos. She hadn't burnt any of them yet. "Alright. I... just wanted to move on. We can't keep crying over Miles, James."

"Crying?" The father asked. I held my wings by my mouth. "We haven't focken cried in over a'month now." I felt rather scared, but the father tried to keep his tone the same. "We've- I've already moved on, but you're askin' me to burn my own son here." The father walked past the mother, where she faced him as he put on his large shoes.

    "Where are you going?"

"To the club." He replied. The father's voice sounded more coarse than ever. "I got better things to do there than here, Lauren." I flapped my wings and landed on the armrest of the couch, letting my arms down as the father pulled out an umbrella from a bucket and popped it up, turning it to get through the doorway and waiting outside. "Argh. This focken rain better end soon, otherwise I can't get to Humble City." I heard him mumble, through my large ears while the mother simply lifted her bags.

    "Where are you going?"

"Back to my lab." She replied, in a similar fashion to him. Perhaps even mocking him. The rain's noise overwhelmed the fire and made hearing rather painful. She stood underneath his wide and black umbrella, sharing a brief kiss. "I have much work to catch up on. They're doing something spectacular soon, so I can't keep missing work."

The father sighed. I was quite taken by the prospect of being left at home again - but this time, what would I do if they both left? "Alright. Who's gonna take care of the Noibat?" They both glanced at me for a few seconds, before facing each other. I wanted them to close the door already. Sure enough, the father closed his umbrella, and closed the door while he and the mother came inside. "Noibat..." It was awkward to call me that. "You'll have t'stay at home by yourself. You can do that, right?"

I wanted to say something, but all that came out was a few wisps. "Well... James, I have to go in about ten minutes. The professor in Twisted-Oak Village won't be impressed if I don't make the boat." I heard the clock ticking, hearing now fire, rain and the clock ticking, not to mention the family talking and walking.

"Alright, Lauren. Take the checkered umbrella on yer way out - the blue one's broken. I'll see you in a month." He said it as if her long leave were as short as leaving for an hour. Mixed bird Pokemon flew around the storm as they landed safely on the green grass, pecking their wings in the bushes.

As she left and caused me a brief moment of pain from opening the door, the father faced me. "I... I dunno what t'do about you, Noibat." He grumbled, wishing he hadn't been talking to me. "I'm sorry Miles isn't around to... well, care for you. But, as y'know, he's gone." He seemed to struggle to speak for a second, but the father pulled through and continued talking to me. "I can't jus' leave you here."

For once, I decided to speak. "Mr. James..." Normally, a person would flinch upon seeing a Pokemon talk. The father did, forgetting I could speak. "If there is one thing Miles wanted to do, it was to become a trainer. He didn't want to stay inside forever. So he went outside, with me as his Pokemon."

For a second, the father closed his eyes. He breathed out his nose. "What are you tryin' to say?"

"I want to become a trainer. For Miles. I want to leave the house, go outside and live for him." I lied to him, and I was hoping it would stick. Being the big man he was, he was obviously tough. And he wanted Miles to become a strong person.

The father bit his lip. "So. You want'go outside and face the world, what with all the Team Havoc shenanigans and now this focken weather?" He pointed outside. He raised his voice for the first time. "Aye... I want to honour Miles. But I don't want you gettin' killed over this."

Speaking of the stuff of dreams... "Here, then." He pulled out a Pokeball, rolling it on the armrest towards me. The sound of it rolling shocked me until I held it. "Make me proud, and you'll make Miles proud. Stop by my club at any time." With that, the father left, turning to the door and leaving. I was alone in the house, with rain and all sorts of other sounds annoying me.

I got a dream to fulfill... at least, my own one. I thought, waiting for the rain to die down while thinking about my time with Miles...

But in the end, RPing is just the exploitation of others.

    ...hang on, that's slavery.

Well, I suppose I can go back to the bio and do some work. Can't let a PM do all. Would be interesting to see how Miles can't speak fluent English, although that may do more harm than good.

I also need to put up some moves too.
