With good armor all the enderdragon can do is push you around. I kept myself in trenches I dug as I destroyed the Crystals. Even had to build a few "towers" like so (from above)





So i could actually hit the crystals.

once the crystals were gone I could usually hit the dragon twice with arrows on each pass... wasn't too hard

TO each his own. For me I am not going to spend DAYS mining and grinding XP to get random special enchantments that I don't really want. So i cheat.

Finally made it to the end. Was loaded up for bear with several level 50 enchanted items. spawn near the edge of an island. Start climbing up to the top level and see the dragon turn towards me. start trying to find cover and the dragon pushes me off the edge on it's first pass

For a cube with 7x7 sides, two walls will be 7x7. Two more will be 7 x 5, and two will be 5x5. for 218 wood planks

OR for a cube with 8x8 sides, Or two can be 8x8, then 2 at 8x6, and last two at 6x6 for 296 wood planks

you can get the 8x8 with 238 wood by replacing a few of the sides with other materials

6, 5 or 4 sides?

Along the same topic. I am trying to get an underground giant jungle tree farm going but it seems the saplings don't want to grow as a group. I can go through a whole stack of bone meal and not get it to grow. But as soon as i go to single saplings i can get tree's top grow even "tall" ones, but no giants. What is the hieght needed and layout for giant Jungle tree's?

Spack dab in the middle of a jungle, near the shore of a small lake that was next to a river, and mountains of jungle all around me.

Only saving grace was that i found a neaby near vertical cave that I dug out for my first home.

1. make a diamond pickaxe
2. dump some water on a lava lake
3. Mine obsidian
4. Create a portal to the nether

I once built a mine track 5km long in the nether. Then walked back in overland. At the time i had a computer that was having difficulty running minecraft and it became almost unplayable after that trip

I was lucky and found two dungeons near eachother. I can get both spawners going at the same time and have it linked to a water elevator that leads to a drop and kill box. strangely i get more skeleton then zombies at the kill point. I think the Skeleton AI has a bit more "wandering" then the zombie.

my blaze piston pit trap is FAR FAR faster in generating mobs, I am in the process of setting up a piston grinder to soften them up and i should be able to do better with XP farming.

I have given up on Dark room farming

what do you have against bacon? damn racist

I have given up on dark room traps and have gone to spawner traps. More mobs, less buggy, and a lot more compact

But i am hungry and the pringles is the only food that is nearby without getting getting up lol

Allready done. I have been XP grinding at my spawner trap and have a double chest full of arrows. I just don't want to have to worry about hauling arrows into the nether
