Is Grand Theft Auto Causing Children To Commit Terrible Crimes?
Grand Theft Auto, A game that publicly has many bad ratings from agencies all over the spectrum. The question is should your kid play this game? GTA has some of the best ratings of any video game out there. This is what I think of the game. What is Grand Theft Auto you may ask? Well grand theft auto is a 5 star hit series since 1997! Grand Theft Auto has over five editions and is growing as we speak! Grand Theft Auto has been a world sensation throughout the world. GTA ratings from ESRB were established on the back of every GTA 5 copy! They state intense violence, and yes there are intense and frightning scenes with lots of blood and gore. It also rates for nudity. Now, you may think when i say the word "Nudity" there's naked bodys running through the streets! There is not a single nude scense or mission you must see or do. There are two distinct locations to see nudity and they are not fully naked. The nudity is kept within two areas, the topless bar and a village in the outskirts of Mount Chillad. GTA is also rated for mature humor. Players in the game will say a very rude jokes or comments. Strong Language is another thing that is rated on GTA as well as strong sexual content. There is also the use of Drugs and alchol. Drugs are smoked are in the game and not only can you do them yourself but there's also used in cut scenes. For this reason all GTA games are rated M for Mature 18+ only. Now I realize everything in that last paragraph was quite shocking. Parents I am sure are thinking, "Wow why would you want to play that"? It is a fun game to play, and you do not have to participate in all the activities listed. As far as running people over or stealing cars, that is the purpose of the game. You can make money robbing stores and completing heists. This does not mean in real life you would go around doing these things. In fact, in my opinion it is not the game. Your parents teach you right from wrong. You know morally the difference. Someone who does not know the difference tends to have some mental issues. It is not much different when as children we played cops and robbers. This is not making me want to be a theif in real life today. As children and young adults we are taught the difference by our parents who set a positive example for us. To blame a video game, music or a show on poor behavior is just that. Blaming!! We need to take responsibility for our bad behavior, not place blame on something that influenced us. GTA 5 is a great game and is very fun and like i said before a great game for people that know what not to do in the real world. I hope you may reconsider your opinions on not only this video game, but all video games, music or movies that you may be inclinded to think cause players to do terrible things in real life. Grand Theft Auto, A game that has yet many and so on many bad ratings of kids playing it or not...so the question is should your kid play this game? Read below to find out my explanation behind what people say is the best selling game series of the century! What is Grand Theft Auto you may ask? Well grand theft auto is a 5 star hit series since 1997! Grand Theft Auto has over five games and is growing as we speak! Grand Theft Auto has been a world sensation of fans all over Youtube,News,and many more social media websites. There has also been many that do not like this game such as Common Sense media and more! Grand Theft Auto released thier new Grand Theft Auto! Grand Theft Auto V has been a world sensation since October 25,2011 when Rockstar said news about a new Grand Theft Auto coming to gamers all around the world! This was a HUGE hit since thier release of Grand Theft Auto IV (released in 2008) was a world sensation aswell! Grand Theft Auto 5 hit 800$ Million Dollars in thier very first day and are yet contuning to make more and more money off the "Game Of The Century" So now were we? Oh yes! Grand Theft Auto 5 the "game of the century" is yet to have a pretty terrible ESRB report. Over 10+ negative rates from ESRB were established on the back of every GTA 5 copy! Thats a pretty bad game. Although the question is....is this game right for your kids? GTA's ESRB back cover ratings cover over: Intense Violence such as you can get a car in GTA 5 and run over as many pedestrians aswell as shoot people! Now this does not mean if you get your kid this he will immediatley go kill people in real life! Its not about the game that makes kids violence but its about the player. Many kids that have "established anger issues over the game" mostly have had ashburgers or more before they started playing the game! Blood and Gore! Yes there is some intense and frightning scenes and over looks in the game of blood and gore. Such as a woman getting sucked into a airliner jet in a cut scene that you MUST watch and cannot skip. Nudity although you may think when i say the word "Nudity" there's naked bodys running through the streets! That is correct. There is not a single Nudity cutscene or mission you must see or do. There is two distinct locations to see Nudity and they are not full naked. 1. The topless bar and 2. a village in the outskirts of Mount Chillad (tallest mountain in GTA 5 Map) containing half naked homeless. Mature Humor, Mature humor does win battle over GTA 5 as running over a pedestrian or animal your in game player will say a very rude jokes or comments. Strong Language is another thing that wins over GTA 5 as strong language is everywhere in the game: free-roaming,cutscenes,mission and much more. Strong Sexual Content is in the game aswell and has been in the GTA 5 series for over 5 years. Now they do not show any sexual scenes but you may doing many sexual acts to pedestrians on your own command. Another thing that wins over GTA 5 is the Use of Drugs And Alchol. Drugs such as many popular and drugs today that are smoked are in the game and not only can you do them yourself but there's also used in cutscenes. ESRB's rating stands out to be rated M+ (for mature) 18+. Aswell as rules of any GTA copy purchased must be purchased by a 18 or older. Now after that intense and shocking paragraph that you just read lets get to the answear should your kid play this game? Many articles say no over becuase of the Nude,Sexual Content,And drugs in the game. I must say that is very bad but it is a game. Many news teams such as CNN,Fox News,And Much more popular news channels have released many info about kids killing people and driving cars. What do they blame? GTA 5. Well GTA 5 is a pretty harse and intense game for kids all over the world but i beleive that its not the game but its the kid. Every single human being that has played GTA 5 in thier lifes and killed someone or did something that you can do in the game have a Medical Error such as anger issues or ashburgers. So in my opnion GTA 5 is a great game for kids that know what not to do in real life but can do in the game. Now that my point is made thier is aswell a System called "Family Settings" which blocks players out of topless clubs and covers all Sexual content and doesent allow them to ethier do that and also attend in Drugs Or Alchol in the game. Rockstar has announced the GTA Online Beach Bum update will arrive on Tuesday November 19 free of charge. Originally announced last month, new vehicles, jobs, customisation options and weapons will automatically be added to the game as part of the 1.06 title update.
On the job front, a range of new beach-themed races, deathmatches, parachutes, last team standings, survivals and gang attacks will be added to the game. These include the 'Grass Route II' race, which runs from the North bank of the Zancudo River to the beach in North Chumash, along with the 'Sundae Driving' Vespucci Beach bike race.
Other jobs that'll be added to the game include 'Survival on Del Perro Pier' that has you take on wave after wave in front of the ferris wheel, the 'View of Vespucci' parachute jump and the 'Paleto Beach' team deathmatch on the shoreline for 4-8 people.
Four new vehicles are set be added to the game as well, which can be used online and in single player. The BF Bifta dune buggy, Canis Kalahari off-road truck and Bravado Paradise beach camper van will all be available for free via your in-game phone, while the Speeder speedboat can be picked up via the marina.
Los Santos' Ammu-Nation stores will begin selling the SNS Pistol and Broken Bottle weapons next Tuesday, while Michael, Trevor and Franklin will have these items automatically placed in their inventories. Finally, new customisation options including board shorts, surfer attire and tribal tattoos will also be available.
