    Anyone know how to fix this? I've tried using a fresh jar and I'm sure it's installing to the right location...Which Optifine are you supposed to use?

    I've read the thread several times over and the mod isn't working. I install optifine A4 correctly and then run the installer but I get no shadows in game. I think my computer should be able to run it fine but here are my specs anyways.
    Operating System: Windows Vista x64
    Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66 Ghz
    Ram: 4 gbs
    GFX Card: Nvidia GeForce GT 520

    If there is any other specs that might make it incompatible then just ask

    I actually like the coupons since I've spent most of my money now, and some of the newer games are only 25% off so a 50% coupon could be useful. I was planning to buy Sniper:Ghost Warrior later so I'd like that one, and I also have a 50% off Eufloria coupon if anyone wants that.

    Yeah I was gonna re-install TF2, never got to it though, and BFBC2 I think I will for sure get. I tried the mount and blade warband demo, and I wasn't a huge fan, but I may try it again.

    And recording usually doesn't take off too much, maybe 20-30 FPS tops.
    Warbands' multiplayer is fun, but it's pretty hard to get use too. Singleplayer isn't too bad either. I've heard Payday is pretty fun too. If you have the money I would just go crazy right now and buy anything that mildly interests you on steam since everything is sale pretty cheap.

    EDIT: Just looking at whats on sale on steam right now, Batman Arkham Asylum and Arkham City are both great games and on sale. Dead Island has pretty good PC graphics and is on sale. And there is Terraria but that wouldn't test anyone's graphics card too much.

    Team Fortress 2 if you don't already have it, easy to run and free. I don't how much recording takes off your FPS but playing older games like Battlefield Bad Company 2, MW2, etc. might be good to do something different since like every commentator is doing BF3 and MW3. Maybe try some lesser known games people haven't heard of? Mount and Blade Warband is good, and you can probably run that at 60 fps recording.

    I would reccomend getting a internal one.Opening up a computer is easy and it isn't too confusing. The video card I bought (Nvidia GeForce GT 280) was $50 and I can run games that aren't too graphic intensive like Mincraft of Team Fortress 2, etc. On all high and get 60 fps. And newer games like Skyrim I have to put on low-medium and get about 25 fps.Most games have mods to make it look better on lower settings or improve performance in general. So it really depends on what your gonna play if your not gonna play too many newer games than something around $60 should do fine. If you only plan on playing newer games I suggest saving up for something better. Make sure your power supply, processor, etc. can handle whatever you buy though.

    Try game-debate.com it's exactly like canyourunit but it makes you enter your specs, however I'm not sure how accurate it is compared to canyourunit. Just seach the game and it will bringyou to a page about the game and its requirements and on the bottom it has some drop down things to enter your specs.

    I remember hearing something about a mod for something similiar and it was supposedly difficult to code and would just slow down the game. Like the water reflections mod, not all computers can run it very well and Minecraft is good right now about being able to run on a wider variety of systems so just adding mirrors could ruin that. Imo mirrors don't really fit into the game either, nothing else is reflective or even shiny. And Minecraft isn't really about home decorating you can press F5 if you want to see yourself now too....
