    The models aren't small, they're the exact size they're supposed to be- look on Bulbapedia, and look at each pokemon's height in meters [ie look at their quick bio and search for the word Metric], that's the height we're going off of. So far, most of the pokemon included aren't actually taller than a block- remember, blocks are a meter tall, and we've been focusing on the smaller pokemon mostly. We'll have the bigger pokemon done at some point, but I don't think anyone here is willing to tackle those just yet, giving the size and the fact that most of us modellers are still more or less beginners.

    We'll work on the wiki a bit more once the next release comes out- imo, it's not really worth it right now, considering how much is going to be changed/added in the next release.

    Something that's been bothering me for a while- Miltank's national pokedex number is 241, not 376 ;P I'm not sure how to fix the spreadsheet though, heck, I'm not even sure how to edit it period, so I'll leave that to people who can ;P

    Quote from _Hiroku_

    I cant swear on the forums, so I will just say 'bugger Unova'. Seriously, that region was a complete failure in my eyes, almost all pokemon were just conversions of the old (Gurdurr, Boldore, and Woobat are just the beginning) and all pokemon in it can be left till last or simply not ever done as far as I'm concerned. The model is pretty good though, but I think you should do something in Kanto (or hoenn since those are the best regions ;) ) like nidoran male and female.

    You mean they're your favorite regions ;P But yeah, that's fine, I'd like to give the Nidos a try at some point, if they don't get snatched up first anyway. I will admit that a lot of the pokemon are similiar, at least in appearance, to older pokemon, and Alomomola not being a Luvdisc evolution really ticked me off, not to mention the butchering of the experience system making it impossible to get decent levels off anything lower leveled than you, which left me the low 40's instead of the high 40's to mid 50's like I usually am for the E4. But putting those issues aside, I'm a huge fan of Unova. To me, the pokemon are different enough to warrent their existance, and the whole point of the game was pretty much a re-boot to the entire series. Re-booting the series may have been a bad move, since that's pretty much the core behind the problems I have with the games, but I still enjoyed them for what they were, and a lot of pro pokemon players who found the previous generations far too easy certainly appreciate these games.

    Then again, I tend to think really positively about games. It's rare to hear me say I hate one- there are games I won't play, but they have to be either horror games [I'm a complete wimp and tend to jump clear across the room whenever something jumps out at me, hence why I'm a peaceful builder on SSP ;P], or games that I've tried and didn't care for much. Anyway, back to Sandile o3o

    [/ramble]

    Edit; Holy cow you guys are fast. Or I'm just a slow typer. Anyway, love that Jolteon White :3 The only thing that's bugging me is the graphical glitch on the left ear, but I'm assuming that's already been fixed/being worked on ;P Also, the ears feel like they could be filled out more. Or at least be given a yellow pixel on one side to represent the little spike that sticks out there.

    Hey everyone, just a quick update on my models- I've given up on the Sandshrew line. I tried several things, but I could not get the eyes to work without it looking really weird or having bits sticking out. If anyone else wants to give it a try, go for it, it's up for grabs ;P Anyway, after looking at the list of pokemon we have/are going to have, I realized that we have nothing from Unova. So I did this;

    'Tis Sandile, if you couldn't tell [I wouldn't doubt it, I can barely tell myself]. I know, it's really rough, but I figured I might as well post it now to get some early opinions of it. And yes, I will be changing the names of the shapes that don't have proper names yet- I'm just leaving them like that for now because I'm too lazy to go through and name everything atm, and seriously, look at all the parts I use just for the muzzle. And there's still a lot left to go ;P Thoughts?

    Flareon's looking better. Still a bit anorexic to me, but if no one else sees the same problem, then it's fine. The tail and mane color is good, but now the body is too orange. Again, I should have been more specific- it's red-orange, not plain orange or plain red, but a mixture of both ;P Sorry. Another thing, if you want to improve the texture, try adding a pixel or two of blue to it's eyes, and adding shading to the fur, ie, take the original color, darken it slightly, and scatter dark spots all over it. And then again but this time with a lighter color. Helps break up the pattern and make the texture less plain ;P Another thing that's bothering me- the head sticks out too much and seems too short, though the latter may just be a side-effect of the former, so I'm not sure. Just try squishing the head back a pixel ;P

    Also, Totodile is best hunchback-alligater-floating-creature-thing ;P

    I feel the same way about tutorials- I prefer to just figure things out on my own. What works works, and what doesn't doesn't ;P Though if I get really frustrated or worried about screwing something up, I will check out a tutorial.

    For simpler models, there's Castform, Chimecho, Shuppet, Spheal, Luvdisc, Budew, and a few others probably.

    The Flareon texture could use a bit of work- the main body should be a more orangish color, and the main and tail should be more yellow, right now they look a bit green ;P Also, try moving the facial features to the front of the head model rather than the sides, and push the head in a bit. The body looks a lot better, mmuch more filled out, but the shoulder cutting past the mane like that is bugging me. Maybe shorten the shoulder so it's not as noicable or making the mane a bit thicker? The tail should be bigger as well, in a lot of pictures with Flareon, the tail seems to be anywhere from a bit smaller than it's main body to bigger than it's body- for this, I'd recommend just sizing it up a little, until it's a bit bigger than the main body. Another thing to keep in mind, is that when texturing the eyes, the 'eyeshine'- ie the white dot- should be in the direction the eye is supposed to be looking in. In that last picture, is seems like Flareon is looking behind it or just over it's shoulder. Maybe it's staring at the little graphical glitch XP? I dunno. The ears still seem awkard- what I'd ment was to make then not straight lines but more like actual ears, you know, rounded. I have no idea how to explain without imagery, but take a look at the other models, specifically the Eevee one, which you can see back on page twenty. Sorry for not being very specific- I'm horrible at explaining things ;P

    @Chaos- It's the same thing as texturing these models- you just go pixel by pixel and coloring them. You'll need to take a square and flatten it, then make it the length you need and add color to it later while you're texturing. To take an example, the Butterfree wings on White's model is spriteart. If you can't fit the muzzle, that's fine then, it was just a suggestion ;P

    As for making things out-of-proportion, start with the body, then add the head, then legs, tail, and other details as needed. The body is the main thing, imo- use it as a base of sorts, and once you've got it set to the right size and shape and placement, leave it, and add the rest as you see fit- least, that's what I do ;P

    I'd say, not bad, but the body is too thin- try pulling down the belly a bit-, and I recommend adding another box for the muzzle. Otherwise, I think it's fine, though I'd recommend changing the ears to sprite-art, I'm personally not a fan of how stiff they look ;P

    Alright, well, here's my Sandshrew model;

    I'm quite happy with it so far, at least, it's an improvement over the bear creature thing that could've been the villain to a gummy bears movie that I last made. I would totally show you guys too, but I have no idea if I have any pictures of it anymore. The only thing that's bugging me is the face is only 2x2, which leaves no room for the face. I could, when I'm adding the muzzle, have it split down the middle of the face and come to a point, to act as a sort of separator for the eyes, but I don't know how well that'd work. Should I just drop this model for now and move on to easier [ie bigger] ones until I'm a bit more experienced ;P? Or is this salvageable?

    @Mr. M- thanks for the warm welcome :3

    TurboModelThingy is something that'd have to be coded into the mod I'm pretty sure, it just adds more shapes to play around with in Minecraft. I don't really have any idea how it works, I think it's just for people who hard-code their models into Minecraft, like DrZark.

    Fair enough X3 That's not bad though, just give it some hips and the legs should be fine. I'm not sure those feet will work though, since as far as I know, Minecraft only takes block-shapes for models and such, unless you have something like TurboModelThingy, but that's for the coders of the mods to decide- if it can be used, then go for it, they look great for Lucario :3

    Lucario isn't actually a legendary- they're not even pseudo-legendary, the anime just depicted it as one for some odd reason or another ;P For the legs, I'd say, make a box for the hips, a thin rectangle for the thinnest part of the legs, a thicker rectangle for the lower legs, and another rectangle going horizontal for the feet.
